Buffalo Bills vs New York Giants: Open Game Thread
FINAL SCORE
Update [2007-12-23 16:39:11 by Brian Galliford]: Well, that got a little out of hand. After building an early 14-0 lead, the Buffalo Bills fell flat on their faces as the rain soaked their emotion, and the New York Giants - behind 291 rushing yards and 2 defensive scores - pulled away late in a 38-21 laugher. The Giants have secured a playoff berth; the Bills have secured their third straight non-winning season. Much more on this game coming shortly.
Just two games remain on the Buffalo Bills' 2007 schedule, and at 7-7, the Bills have a shot at finishing the season with a winning record for the first time since 2004. Tight end Kevin Everett - critically injured in the season-opener with a spine injury that has ended his career - will reportedly walk onto the field turf at Ralph Wilson Stadium a mere three and a half months after being declared a quadriplegic on the very same field. There is still plenty to play for - Everett and the winning record are good; pride, however, remains atop the list.
This is the official open thread for the Bills/Giants game. I'll be up at The Ralph cheering Kevin on (and visiting with loyal reader sireric, time permitting), so this thread is all yours for the day. Use it for live updates, rants, Eli Manning mocks, or whatever else your little hearts desire; just be sure to keep the colorful language to a minimum and the conversation civil. Oh, and if you don't have a free account - create one! GO BILLS!

such a disappointing game
We are letting the freakin' Giants dictate this game. This is a team that has been slapped in the mouth for weeks now, but we letting them do it right back to us.
Terrible ST has killed any momentum we had built up.
I thought with KE on hand this team would play its guts out, I guess not...
WOW
4 consecutive plays inside the goal line, net -3 yards. Legendary.
Giants win! Giants win!
Question for you Bills fans. Did Dick Jauron make a mistake forcing his team to go into the win in the fourth quarter? I think so. It made it impossible for them to get anything done once they fell behind.
