The fickleness and hypocrisy of Bills fans is getting a bit irritating. I know it's been a long playoff drought and everybody's frustrated... blah blah blah. But over the past decade the Bills have tried everything to field a successful team. Everybody's been spittin and cryin to develop a QB, but nobody has the patience for it. Right now the Bills just finished the season 7-9 after losing 15 players to IR and the likes of London Fletcher, Takeo Spikes, Nate Clements, and Willis McGahee in the preceding offseason. Our rookie QB kept us in about every game and played better than a 4th year vet on one of the league's worst offenses. After all of that, with no major departures in line this offseason, I'd say there's nowhere to go but up from here. The most frustrating part is that the Bills had opportunities to win about 4 more games THIS season. What's not to be excited about for next season?!
I read a bunch of garbage everywhere about how much Dick Jauron sucks, how people aren't comfortable with Trent as next season's starter... how we should look for a QB. The only way we should look for a QB is if JP is traded and we need a back-up with experience to "train" Trent. Or, if one falls into our laps again in the draft.
I love what Dick Jauron is doing with this team, every draft pick he (and Levy) has made has been dynomite. They're filling this team with young, hungry, talented, and best of all, good kids. Now we just need some more athletes at the receiver postions and one more monster at LB (IMHO).
