Buffalo's current woes, Godfather style

PrintI was out in Buffalo last week and I swear….when I see the faces on some of the people there from being Bills’ fans for their lifetimes, I see faces that have years taken off their lives because of this depressing crap we always have to deal with. And then at the same time, the unity, the togetherness, the fellowship and bond that we all have makes it all worth it. ~MARVelous
I've got to say, that's a pretty dead on description of us as fans. The good and the bad.
On a lighter note, I'm a fan of the Godfather movies (even III) and caught the first one last week. Some of the quotes from it (and another from III) really remind me of our current frustration.
I’m not asking for help, Michael, just take off the handcuffs.
That one’s for you, Turk Schonert. Stop being so dang predictable and make it difficult for defenses to predict what you’re doing. Bring some variation to the O… screens, slants, outside runs, end-arounds, a trick play, whatever. Just try!
It’s not personal, Sonny. It’s strictly business.
I don’t hate you as a man, Dick Jauron, just as a head coach. Strictly football. I wish you would make adjustments, try something different, force your coordinators to make changes, be a more aggressive leader, light a fire under these guys, etc…
Only don’t tell me you’re innocent. Because it insults my intelligence and makes me very angry.
To Dick Jauron, stop telling us that 5-4 is better than last year or other years. Expectations should have been higher this year and after 3 straight stinkers, saying garbage like that just insults Bills fans’ intelligence and ticks us off.
Women and children can be careless. But not men.
Quit the mistakes gentlemen! Making the same stupid errors over and over is infuriating!
The Don: I like to drink wine more than I used to.
Michael: It’s good for you, Pops
The Don: Anyway, I’m drinking more.
That’s like us watching the Bills this year! We are drinking more and more to feel better about this junk! And I'm sure for those in Buffalo, to stay warm.

I can see the weekly meetings between Jauron and Perry Fewell going sort of like that....
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
Just because that line is so awesome.
And what a win vs Cleveland might mean:
Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in.
Hopes will be up again, playoff possibilities may return, yet I still see us disappointed soon after. That’s the life of a Bills fan I guess…

I need a lighter note. I am planning on renting comedies and watching episodes of family guy, Arrested Development, and Seinfeld to try and brighten my mood. I try not to think about the BIlls, but they are like the sun and I just can’t help but stare.

K, I needed that laugh after the last 3 games…if you don’t keep a sense of humor, you’re in danger of going to the funny farm.
I can just envision Trent saying, “I’m not asking for help, Turk, just take off the handcuffs.” Or maybe, “Leave the (shot)gun. Take the play action.”
What’s being a Bills fan if you can’t have a little fun?

So, here is my one question
Who on the team gets the “Sonny treatment”? I mean , who needs to be whacked to allow our Michael (if we HAVE one on the staff) to have their chance of taking over and leading the family to victory?
Btw, whose Luca Brasi and Salvatore Tessio? Who gets to sleep with the fishes, and who gets garroted by the team/staff?

Sonny = Dick Jauron (in my heart)
Michael = Bobby April, maybe
Luca Brasi = Chris Kelsay. I can envision Chris Ellis showing up to the game on Sunday holding Kelsay’s bulletridden helmet with a fish in it.
Tessio could also be Jauron since both he and Abe Vigoda look like zombies. Or maybe Peters because he talks too much. I’m sure the tight lipped Jauron feels a bit of betrayal from that.
