Some questins to think about while on the back stretch
Of course we want to make the playoffs, truth be told we all know we should, but lets keep in mind how young we are.....( i mean critics consider Whitner, McGee and Evans and are OLD Vets, ) As we watch the back stretch of the season unfold lets just put a couple things in our minds while ALREADY the season is almost over
1)Statement: Watch Guard and Center Play
Answer: The tackles have been getting 90% of the butchery but in realization take a look at the interior line. Preston Topped our center Fowler in the middle of this year. Plus Butler, Dockery. Whittle, either (A) they are getting beat because they are helping out the inexpirenced Centers or (B) they aren't That Good. Yes I know Butler is young, but i think he is more a started because Buffalo just doesnt have anyone else. and a truley belive Dockery is helping out the center. BOTTOM LINE The running game, practiclly ALL YEAR has suffered due to the incapiblity of running INSIDE. Obviously if we add a center through Free Agency(even if he is a 10 year vet; which are reliable in the NFL) the Bills and especially Marshawn Jackson or Fred Lynch however you may call them can actrully gain yardage by going up the middle rather that gathering the majority of their yards around the Tackles.
Question Can we run the ball with out upgrading at Center and/ or guard OR are we a playoff team with them, and HOPE they get better?
. SIMPLE SUM UP- see what happens in offseason, nothing will be changed this season
2) Front 4 DL. Question the past 2 seasons we have been near the bottom with sacks. Theres no hidding it., Yes Arron is a probowler and kelsey is getting paid the same and denney is a similar player to kelsey(remember when they came together Denney was looked at more the starter. So WHAT DO WE DO?....Chris Ellis, the Bills 3rd round is finally may get a couple plays under his belt with Bryan not playing this week against the 49ners. I am really excited about Ellis but he seems a figment of imagination. The 3rd round pick out of VaTech (if you remember VaTech last year is was ALL D-Fense, and he was the guy.
Answer The QUESTION? ? - Keep you eye on Ellis..hopefully we see him, but also Denny and Kelsey Are they worth it, do you see the D-line racking up sacks even if arron was there?
3) S Johnson & D Fine the best rookie recievers we have?
Hardy, I still know once he learns the running routes will be fine next year..Man that feels funny to say haha LEARN YOUR JOB
S Johnson who is the same height, same build and who played on a offense stellar last year with Kentucky will be more of an asset that Hardy, dont get me wrong i know hardy will be what we are looking for, but keep an eye on the other Dreded hair ofense player Steve Johnson
Derrick Fine was a nice pick, yes he had a broken thumb, but wasnt put on IR for a reason, now that ROYAL is out with a hamstring injury(or is it cold hands) Fine will get more reps at TE. and just like Johnsons college, remember Kansas last year and their explosive offense? Just like our Boise st TE fine can get it done
Answer the Question- Where do you see Parrish in the mix besides Special teams in the comming future?
Love Reed and Evan they will stay but keep you eye on some of our Youngsters
Lets Go BUFFALO, 2nd time around of the AFC EAST has GOTS TO BE BETTER
