Got Dolphins Questions?

Hello Toronto Bills fans,

(That just sounds too weird)

Many of you probably know me from our "Around the AFC East" segment that we did before the season.  For those that don't, I'm the guy who runs the Miami Dolphins blog on SB Nation - The Phinsider.

As we prepare for Dolphins/Bills - Round 2 - I wanted to come over here and see if any of you had any Dolphin-related questions for me.

So shoot me some topics and I'll check in from time to time and answer them best I can.

This FanPost was written by a registered user of Buffalo Rumblings. Its views do not necessarily reflect the views of Rumblings' editorial staff, but are just as valued as our own.

No way!

I’ve learned never to underestimate an opponent. Fact is the Dolphins have beaten the Seahawks, Raiders, and Rams by a combined total of 8 points. And I’d be lying if I didn’t proclaim openly that I’m very nervous about this game. The Bills will be angry after their loss on Sunday and are essentially playing for their playoff lives. A loss would probably put an end to any playoff thoughts for the Bills – and that has me scared.

Nothing worse than playing against a desperate team.

by Matty I on Dec 1, 2008 4:32 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

They’ve been “despearate” for the last three weeks. I wouldn’t worry about them suddenly turning it on.

by thatguy34 on Dec 2, 2008 3:09 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Exactly

Losing at home against the Browns and 49ers when your back is up against the wall pretty much shows what kind of desperation this team is playing with….

I guess I'm just jaded

I continue to expect the worst – and that includes a loss on Sunday.

lol

If they don’t, then somebody within the organization deserves to be fired.

All I need is to hear that Ronnie Brown can’t make the game because he never got a passport.

Matty,

What’s the injury status of your guys? I read that a very happy player on your team just broke his leg. Is there any other injury concerns you have right now?

by jj24 on Dec 1, 2008 4:54 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

haha

a “very happy player” – that’s classic.

Yes – Justin Smiley is done for the year, which hurts big time. Greg Camarillo, our leading receiver, suffered a season-ending knee injury against the Pats two games ago. But other than that, I don’t have any concerns. Ricky Williams left the game after tweaking an ankle on Sunday – but later returned.

Jason Allen, who has been our nickelback the past few weeks, missed yesterday’s game with a “hand/wrist” injury – forcing Joey Thomas into the nickel role. The result? Two pass interference penalties on St. Louis’ first drive to help get them in position for a FG. He also allowed at least 2 3rd down conversion completions. So Jason Allen’s health will be something to monitor this week.

Thank you.

We’ve been dinged up in the secondary, too. That’s where we’ve been getting beat on defense. Not with the effiiciency that Chad Pencilington demonstrated against us earlier this year, but still pretty bad. It we don’t pull out a miracle division-winning run, I hope you guys get it. Good luck, bro.

i could

never root for the phins….I am amazed at your guys turnaround and I’m sure Brian has more in store later this week comparing our two franchises (at least I hope) cuz seeing your turn around is pretty amazing. The complete cleaning house, the amazing player acquisitions, draft, all of it. Most importantly though has been you picking up Pennington undoubtedly IMO. Without him, you guys maybe have 4-5 wins and not 7 for sure. Do you see Pennington as a long term solution?

Also, what can you say to us Bills fans muddering in mediocrity under the Jauron regime? From an outside divisional perspective any thoughts? I mean you guys suffered thru Saban and Cameron, and then boom you get a savior in Parcells….man I’m jealous

RE:

First, about Pennington, he absolutely has been the key to this team’s success. As far as a long-term solution, I think CP can handle the starting job for another year or two. But at some point, it will be time for Chad Henne.

Secondly, I’m not sure what to say. As an outsider, I really thought Jauron had this team headed in the right direction. But I think the regression of Trent Edwards is worrisome. I was never really sold on him – just like I was never sold on Losman. But I think the Bills are one good veteran QB (like CP) away from breaking out.

by Matty I on Dec 1, 2008 9:33 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

John Beck could be available

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit :)

Congrats on the turn around. Sparano & Parcells have definitely given your team a new attitude this year. It has been the diffferece between losing all of those close games last year to where you guys are at now. I love Tony’s and Bill’s roughneck attitude, and it appears to be paying dividends for you guys so far.

How do you see your squads’ outlook for the next 3 years?

by MonStarr_716 on Dec 2, 2008 4:35 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Wow

Hating on Beck from the Toronto crowd. That hurts. Poor kid. All he did was try to win football games on a bad team.

All he did was try to win football games on a bad team.

Although I am a firm believer in the “you are who your record says you are” You guys were played a lot better than a 1-15 team, but you gotta admit, the kid looked pretty bad last year..

by MonStarr_716 on Dec 2, 2008 8:08 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

He did

Won’t lie for him.

I’m just afraid that we will ship him off and not see what he can be. Obviously he was selected in the 2nd round for a reason (even if CamCam did it), and no one was really surprised by that pick (especially when compared to the Ginn pick in the first round), so he can’t be all that bad.

Hopefully we will give him another year or so and see what he can be. Then, if there’s not anything worth holding on to, then we get rid of him.

Next 3 years:

Probably a step back in 2009 – record wise. That’s generally what happens. Then I think 2010 is when things really get rolling with a serious playoff push.

But a lot depends on how this team handles the QB situation. If Pennington stays healthy, do they have him start next year? Do they have him start for the next 2 years (would have to give him an extension, as he only signed a 2 year deal). Or do they give the reigns to Henne sooner rather than later?

Interesting storyline to unfold at some point.

by Matty I on Dec 2, 2008 2:01 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

If Pennington stays healthy, do they have him start next year?

Absolutely, how could they not?

Two years down the road is where things get interesting. So much of the Dolphins future is in Chad Henne’s hands. The Dolphins could become a perenial super bowl contender if he is the real deal, or they could go into a parcells is gone and our QB is a bust tailspin and complete rebuild mode in 3 years too.

As Buffalo spends year after year in mediocrity there are a lot of fans that have used Miami as an example of how quickly you can turn things around. I’ve pointed out that Miami lost 7 games last year by three points despite having some of the worst QB play that I have ever witnessed. I’ve argued that the step up from Beck and Lemon to Pennington has led to most of your success. So …..

Is Miami’s resurgence mostly due to Pennington? How much credit should Parcell’s other personel moves get (Ferguson, Fasano, Smiley, Ayodele, Starks, Long, Merling)? Has the ingame coaching, playcalling etc… been better than last year?

Basically, is Miami really that much better than last year, or were they just an average team with terrible QBs, that added a couple nice pieces and a good QB and emerged into an above average team with an above average QB?

by kaisertown on Dec 1, 2008 5:37 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Good question

No doubt, Pennington has been the most important key to Miami’s turnaround.

But there are a lot of other reasons. Jason Ferguson’s acquisition was key because, to run a 3-4, you need that big NT. Justin Smiley, who is done for the year now, was a big factor in Jake Long’s development because they played next to each other. Randy Starks, Phillip Merling, and Kendall Langford were big acquisitions that helped improve Miami’s DL.

But one of the other keys has been the RB play. Last year, Ronnie Brown only played in 7 games and Ricky Williams only got in for like 2 or 3 plays. So having those 2 back and healthy makes a big difference.

But I agree with you that the Dolphins shouldn’t have been as bad as they were last year. But with that said, only about 20 players from last year’s team remain. So the moves that Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland orchestrated have been brilliant – with the exception of Ernest Wilford – and those two deserve a lot of credit.

Oh – and having a capable head coach also helps.

by Matty I on Dec 1, 2008 9:38 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

The turnaround

How do you guys feel about the decent record/playoff hopes/beating the Pats (thank you)/solid season so far? (BTW, that is intended to set up a single focused question.)

Do you see this as any sort of fluke-ish-ness? Like, maybe teams underestimated the Fins for a while? Or is this for real, built for the long haul, quality? I don’t like to speak for other people, but I seem to remember Brian saying he was impressed with the ‘right-pieces-in-the-right-places’ aspect of Miami. Because I am so frustrated with Buffalo’s inability to move up the in the rankings, it hurts to agree, but I do. It seems as though Parcells has it in for the Bills.

That said, I would prefer if the Fins-Bills rivalry took top notice in the division, and the Pats faded into thin air.

Sweet home Orchard Park.

by thurman on Dec 1, 2008 5:37 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

RE:

Yeah – I think we’d all agree that the Jets and Bills fading into oblivion would be a good thing. They are definitely my 2 most hated rivals. Your Bills are third – but I wouldn’t say it’s a close third.

Back to your question. I think a lot of the team’s success is for real. Again, I know I’ve said it like 2 or 3 times already, but Chad Pennington has been a savior for this team. So much so, in fact, that I’m going to be purchasing a big ol’ CP jersey – even if he’s only starting for 1 more season before Henne takes over. He’s been 1 million times better than I thought. I’ll admit it – I was dead wrong about him. I originally didn’t want the Fins to sign him. And now he’s like one of my 2 or 3 favorite players.

With that said, I do think the schedule has played a small part in Miami’s success. They lucked out and got to play the two worst divisions in football – the AFC West and NFC West (as every other AFC East team did). So far, against those 2 divisions, the Fins are 5-1. But next year, our AFC East teams play the AFC South and NFC South – a much tougher task. So it’s probable that they could take a step back, record-wise, in 2009. But that doesn’t make their success this year a fluke.

by Matty I on Dec 2, 2008 1:35 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Did you guys play the 3-4 last year? I really don’t remember. I’m hoping you didn’t because many of would like to see the Bills move towards that type of D and it’d be nice to know if the transformation could be done in one offseason….

Will Ted Ginn have another career day this week? How bad has he been since the last matchup?

~K

by Kurupt on Dec 1, 2008 7:56 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

RE:

The Dolphins originally intended to run a 3-4 defense – with Jason Taylor and Joey Porter as OLBs. But injuries really prevented them from playing a true 3-4 defense. In fact, they were in a 4-3 more times than not – which is partly why Joey Porter had such a down year. So I won’t say the transformation was totally done in one offseason, but some of the key pieces were found this past offseason (Jason Ferguson, Phillip Merling, Kendall Langford). Since you guys have a potential NT already with Stroud, I’d say it can be done.

As for Ginn, he’s actually been quite good since the first meeting between these 2 teams. He’s averaged 4 catches for 60 yards in 5 games since his big breakout game against the Bills (but only 1 receiving TD). But he has also scored a 40 yard TD on a reverse.

But I’d keep the name Davone Bess in mind this week. He’s going to be the receiver that surprises you guys.

by Matty I on Dec 2, 2008 1:43 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I have Bess in my fantasy league and watched Hawaii last year, I know plenty about how good of an underneath receiver he can be…Nice find on him.

Edwards

will be fine and will be a good QB in this league. He had a concussion, an idiot play caller refusing to run the ball with one of the best RB’s in the NFL and the biggest OL in the NFL to take the load of our young signal caller. He has all the tools to be a decade long starter in the NFL.

I would say I’d rather have our guy, then have a stop gap in Pennington like Parcells has done his last few years with the Brad Johnson’s and Testaverde’s of the world. Sure they are good game managers but you can never go anywhere with them. Trent isn’t this all world QB he was made out to be in the beginning of the season, but with him, lynch, evans, Jason-Peters back to pro bowl form, our offense has all the parts to be good down the road if we ever find an offensive coach

Im wondering about Ricky Williams – I’ve always been a huge fan of the guy….he’s just a great talent and even though he plays for the hated Dolphins I was always impressed in the early part of the decade when he was absoultely DESTROYING the Bills.and the rest of the NFL..and then I was disapppointed (as a fan of the guy) when he was experiencing his “difficulties” (but not feeling sorry for the dolphins one bit) Anyways my question is…….How has he been this year? you know Parcells MO, he’ll start building a solid team and leave. you’re starting to see the Cowboys crumble and the phins will follow down that same path. I don’t believe for a second that Parcells will be satisfied being a GM for more than 1 or 2 years.

Yea ur right

its not like every team he has ever came to has been elite just a few years later or anything. Yea…Dallas is falling apart too..falling apart so bad they are gonna make the playoffs…so bad they got a top 3 QB for free….the best wideout in the league….a top 5 RB in the late rounds…..A hometown new stud wr….a top 3 tight end…..Ware and multiple others Parcells picked and was dead on about….etc…..

He might leave in 3 years…but we will be built Tuna tough and we will have been kicking ur ass already..and for years to come in Canada. Let him leave us 5 deep at each position…im sure we can find someone willing to take over a solid foundation.

You guys wanted us to bow down to Trent Edwards….“He has 4 comebacks!!!”…whipptieeeee doooo….he is a below .500 QB. Maybe oneday he will be ok..but at least we dont shove a avg QB at you and say his name is “THE NEXT TOM BRADY”….i told you would be calling for Losman…how many of you called for him at some point after the Phins game? Dont lie….if u didnt someone here did.

Henne might be good..he might not…be well be realistic. Look at John Beck…he sucks…we know he sucks…he carries jock straps now. You guys will live for all eternity trying to make Edwards the next Montana…just like u wasted time on Losman when he proclaimed he was “like Favre” before the draft.

Jim Kelly aint walkin through that door Bills fans….ok wlell maybe he is…but he is really old n fat now…so i doubt he helps…well maybe he is still better than Losman.

I think it comes down to the fact we’re excited that our team is in contention for a playoff spot. We know that the Phins have lots of work to do, but we just happy to be where we are, and for anyone to try to dimish it is just not sober.

oh wow

You know – I try to stay very laid-back, but this comment strikes a nerve.

And it does so because of how ignorant of a comment this is. And I sense jealousy is playing a part here.

First off, how did NE show us who the better team is? If I recall, the Dolphins beat the Pats by more than they beat us. And the Fins were right in that game until the 4th quarter.

But more importantly, saying the Dolphins are “closer to last place then first place” – well, it should be “than” not “then”, but I digress. If you really feel that way, I guess I’ll have to question your football IQ. The fact of the matter is the Dolphins weren’t as bad as many thought last year – losing 6 games by 3 points. Now it just so happens that in 2008, the Dolphins are winning these close games rather than losing them. So does that make them less of a football team? Because they are only beating teams (other than that win at NE) by an average of 5.5 points? Is this the BCS?

The NFL put teams on the schedule and then it’s each teams’ job to win the football game. It doesn’t matter how they do it. It doesn’t matter if it’s luck or a fluke. Half of New England’s first Super Bowl run was a “fluke” – but does that matter now? No. History says they were the champions.

Here’s what I know. The Dolphins are 4 wins away from winning the AFC East. I don’t care how they got here or if they deserve it. Those are the facts. Three wins against teams with a combined 12-24 record would put the Dolphins in position to head to Jersey with the AFC East title on the line. So to me, this is a team that is much closer to first place than you want to admit.

Green isn’t a good color for you, buddy.

Eeeaaaaaaasssyyyy, sailor. I think all he meant is that, given the fact that NE just beat you guys and the Jets’ “surge”, that you guys are third in the division. I happen to agree.

Also, really? Picking on grammar? Come on.

You said it yourself – you don’t get ahead of yourself; I believe you phrased it “jaded”, and that you expect the worst. I don’t think gator was ripping the team the way you interpreted it. And for the record, y’all were giving us the same argument when we were 5-1 – and it turned out to be accurate.

Buffalo Rumblings - all you care to know about the Buffalo Bills and more

by Brian Galliford on Dec 2, 2008 4:49 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

maybe I did interpret it wrong

And yes, I do expect the worst. But it really “gets my goat” – what a strange saying, huh – when opposing teams’ fans try to make us Dolphin fans feel bad for our wins. And that’s how I perceived this. I perceived it as a Bills’ fan telling me that I should almost apologize for my team’s wins because they weren’t big wins.

But this is the NFL – and I apologize for no wins. I take them any way I can get them. And I’m sure you would have loved beating the Browns and/or 49ers by just 2 points, right? Would you be apologizing for your wins then? Or would you be saying how it’s exciting to watch a young team learn how to win?

The Bills were just two wins over “weak teams” away from being 8-4 and serious division/playoff contenders. So if the Bills had won those 2 games by a total of 4 points, how would you take to Dolphins fans trying to diminish those wins because they were against “bad teams”?

by Matty I on Dec 2, 2008 4:51 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

The same way we would take to everyone diminishing our wins in the beginning of the season (which they did) because they were over weak opponents (which they were). I think what most of us are trying to say is that we won’t know how truly good the Dolphins are until they get to the playoffs and play some quality opponents or until next year.

Face it, the AFC East played a scrub schedule this year. Somehow, the Bills managed to lose against some of those scrubs (maybe the Bills are scrubs?). The Dolphins beat those scrubs. Don’t apologize for wins. We didn’t apologize when we started 4-0 and 5-1 and I personally don’t expect you guys to apologize now, either. Just pointing out the exact same thing we heard about a month and a half ago.

by thatguy34 on Dec 2, 2008 4:56 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Well you didn't hear it from me.

In the NFL, a win is a win and I don’t care who it’s against.

As for your schedule comment, you’re 100% accurate. And next season could be very rough for the AFC East – having to play the AFC South and NFC South. That means a schedule filled with the Colts, Titans, Panthers, Bucs, and Saints. Ouch.

by Matty I on Dec 2, 2008 5:06 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Matty

Remember, we’ve beat the 7-5 Pats, the 4-8 Chargers (who everyone swears is better than the record – but they are only 4-8 so, how good are they really?), the 6-6 Bills, and the 7-5 Broncos to go with our 2-10 Seahawks and Rams and 3-9 Raiders wins. Obviously, it’s not just bad teams we are beating.

The NFL is funny, though

So I don’t value any win more than another.

This is a league where the Jets go to NE and win and then go to Tennessee (who was unbeaten) and win again. They then return home to lose to a Broncos team that lost to the Raiders a week before. Oh – and the Raiders also beat the Jets.

alright that does it. You actually capitalized and quoted that someone thinks Edwards is the next Tom Brady and I’m going to call you out on it. Who ever said that Trent is "THE NEXT TOM BRADY".

i told you would be calling for Losman

Who is calling for Losman? Find me the quote where someone on this blog of 100s actaully called for Losman to be the starter of this team. You can maybe find one or two people who post irregularly who wanted Losman to come in during the second half of the monday night game, but nobody around here actually wants Losman to be the starter.

If you wanna come here and brag about how you are almost going to make the playoffs this year, then that is cool. You’ve got Parcells you are turning things around really fast and whatvever, but please don’t make stuff up. Don’t put words in the mouths of the regular posters.

Here is a quote from you predicting that Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown can both run for 1,000 yards:

Getting to that many yards only requires a RB to average 62.5 yards a game (if all 16 are played). I can see Ricky and Ronnie both getting to that figure easily.

HAHAHAHA, The Dolphins as a team aren’t even going to run for 2,000 yards. At least I use actual quotes.

Calvin Johnson is pretty good. Like Brian mentioned Plax is also 6’5’’.

Moss is only 6’4’’ so if your going to include players in that range than Brandon Marshall is a star too. FItzgerald and Andre Johnson are both 6’3’’. So I could make the argument that most of the truly elite WRs are tall guys. Considering how few WRs there actually are in the league that are 6’3’’ or taller, the ratio between elite guys, average guys and busts is still just as good as any other height range.

by kaisertown on Dec 2, 2008 11:27 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

The Wilford and Hardy and Jax WR’s of the league are so SLOW and struggle to get in and out of breaks. Guys like Fitz, Moss, Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson are all fluid and quick enough to get open and THEN can worry about their size. A guy like Brandon Marshall has struggled mightily lately because he’s not all that quick and is struggling to get open. Believe me, I know. I’ve watched every Broncos game as he’s on both of my fantasy teams. He tries to overpower guys, which works at times, but when he can’t get separation from the DB’s, it’s tough on him.

6'5" and taller

those guys though, you would think hey, just run down there and we’ll toss it up. It doesn’t work like that in the NFL though cuz DB’s just body em up and prevent them from just going up and getting it. If Hardy could get really strong, he might have a chance. But the NFL is all about speed, and if you don’t have it, you got nothing….I swear though, my blood is going to boil if the Bills lose in Toronto to Miami. Actually, the only thing I can see making a difference would be if they play really bad in Toronto (not that big of stretch at this point). Ralph and Brandon are unveiling a “new” product in Canada this week. If the product stinks, it’s gonna put a bit of a wrench in their whole “regionalization” and increased corporate revenue plan. And while its debatable whether Ralph and Brandon are that worried about winning games, it’s certainly not debatable that their worried about improving their balance sheet.

Unlike the others, I agree with you sometimes, but not on this occasion. Buffalo is going to make money in Toronto regardless of how the team plays on Sunday. I don’t think a win matters all that much as far as the accounting books go.

by kaisertown on Dec 3, 2008 12:25 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

No, that’s not what I meant. I know the contract is signed, and they’re going to get money from Rogers regardless whether they win, lose, or draw. But, if they look terrible on Sunday, I don’t think many Toronto corporations are gonna start plopping down the big bucks for corporate suits at the Ralph. Isn’t that the final goal of this whole deal, to increase suite sales, not just to take the money from Rogers?

Sure Miami lost, but at least won a couple

Can Buffalo say the same? Hmmmmm.

Can the Dolphins have Poz?

Pretty please? We’ll give you… umm… Reggie Torbor and Ernest Wilford.

Seriously though. I want Poz.

How badly do you think the Gators will destroy Satan and the Tide?

Although you are obviously on the dark side with the Bills, you do have some redeeming value as a Gators fan. As we go to Atlanta this weekend, what do you think is going to happen?

I have a hard time seeing anyone beating the Gators, all homerism aside. They are really unstoppable at this point. The Harvin injury is a bit of a concern but they have so many weapons.
what everyone is forgetting about is their defense. they don’t give up much in the way of points or runs. I like their chances and anytime Nick Saban loses it’s a good day.

how about you?

by gatornation on Dec 3, 2008 10:33 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

please please please beat Saban!!!!

I don’t even like Florida…but we can’t let Saban get to the title game.

I’ve never asked Florida for anything….so I’m sure they can squeeze in this simple little favor of mine.

I haven’t gotten a chance to watch a ton of Florida or Alabama games, but the small amount I have seen, I’ve been impressed with both teams. However, it seems the teams that have given Florida trouble in recent past are the smash mouth, physical teams like Michigan last year and Ole Miss this year. Alabama has a very similar personality. As a Gator fan, doesn’t that worry you?

by thatguy34 on Dec 3, 2008 12:51 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

it's a big game

that’s what worries me. I think the Gators defense and especially their special teams have been a lot stronger then people realize. that’s the key to victory.

by gatornation on Dec 3, 2008 2:35 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Florida looks amazing

I think the loss to Ole Miss woke them up. I think the offense is scary, because it has so many interesting options…pass, run, Tebow…take your pick. You can’t stop them all.

The defense is just shut down dominating.

There’s no weak point.

Question that we have been semi-debating in the Phinsider. What do you think of Tebow in the NFL? Do you see him coming out this year? What round draft pick, and to whom? Do you think he will be a QB?

good questions

I think Tebow needs more polishing but I don’t think he’ll get that in Florida’s offense. he needs to be more accurate on his throws and to able to read nfl defenses. I do think his leadership skills are off the charts.
I see him being a mid to late 1st round pick depending on how he does at the combine (if he declares this year). I anticipate him doing well.

by gatornation on Dec 3, 2008 2:37 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I'm not sure the NFL will project him as a QB

I think teams will try to move him to WR. Part of me, even though I know the Dolphins are in need of a lot more than just taking a luxury pick, but I really want them to look hard at taking him. If you add him to the Wildcat offense, you suddenly have a true passing threat for the formation.

Plus, I think you are right. His leadership is a huge factor. I think being able to take someone like him is huge for a young team. You can always use the talent. I mean, even Matt “I Use Cocaine and Somehow am Still Playing” Jones has finally started to makea difference as a WR.

As for where he goes in the draft, I don’t know. I am hoping he falls to us in the 2nd round, since we have two 2nd round picks. We’ll see, I guess.

And, of course, this is all assuming he declares. I think, if the Gators win the National title and he gets a 2nd Heisman, he walks. If only one of those two happens, he may stay.

i respect the gators

but i hate them…but its stupid when fans say “u suck!”….when ur dominant obviously. they humiliated us and i drove 500 miles to see it in the rain….but i wouldnt trade a fsu/gators game for anything….score dont matter.

we had their # when i was a freshman/soph…..lately we are a mess. they are on another level…i just wish they would be more classy and respect the rivalry
