It looks like
in our league 6 losses was just enough to get into the playoffs. Maybe the same holds true for the Bills?
I’m going to be watching Kurupt vs Circle the Wagons. Kurupt is like the Cardinals, team can blow up for over 120 or whimper for less than 80 and Circle the Wagons is like the Steelers, solid play and you always know you’re going to get a good outing. Rock vs Fire baby!
Kawika Mitchell is a leader. He will help this young team develop.

Considering my 3 best players are Aaron The Nose Rodgers, Thomas Jones and the Titans, my team is about as unpredictable as Schonert is predictable….
My team could be so much better if Brandon Marshall and Joe Addai would have shown up more this year….

We have had a very successful campaign and a mucho competitive league. Team Mule dominated our league with a 11-2 record behind Warner, Portis and Fitzgerald. Jimbo’s Jumbo’s (Romo, Slaton, Lynch, Evans) edged out myself (Rodgers, Gore, S Smith, R Moss) with similar 8-5 records to win the other divison. So Team Mule and Jimbo’s Jumbo’s have byes this week while
- Levy’s Legends (MARVelous) takes on #5 Shoot the works and
- Defenestration takes on #6 Gator Nation
Notthebills, Morning Sickness, mibillsfan, and mjt1586 all missed out on the playoffs.

Friggin' Payton Manning and Reggie Wayne
If Peyton had learned how to throw a ball this past offseason I would have the bye since he dragged Wayne’s numbers below the Mendoza line for fantasy football.
BUt can’t complain about the Troika of Chris Johnson, Matt Forte and Michael Turner, those dudes have carried me the whole season long. Having the Raven’s D hasn’t hurt me much either.

Well Brian,
You can’t be wild about the fact that all a dominant season earns you is a possible second round matchup with the highest scoring team in the league.
On the other hand, if untouchBILL hadn’t declined to start a QB, K, and Defense last week, this highest-scoring team would have finished the season sub-.500. So I suppose the odds of me flaming out in the first round are high.

The only thing that concerns me is the situations of my outstanding running backs – MB3, Jacobs, Parker and Hightower. If they stay healthy, I’m pretty confident. That is all.

I’d certainly rather have that problem than my weekly “Will Willis score 0 in my starting lineup, or 25 on my bench” issues. I nearly cut him today, but I was absolutely certain if I did someone would pick him up, play him against me, and ride him to victory.

Don't get your big head through the door just yet
I wouldn’t count on battling Brian just yet — I have Stephen Jackson and Larry Johnson finally back, and just this once, the Bills defense will pull my team through(?)

Like I said
Given my luck this season, the odds of my flaming out this round are very high.
On the other hand, you are counting on the Lions D shutting down AP…

BR2
We had a decent league. Not much on the message board, not much trading though. A few guys dropped out early too. All in all, still good fun, and for me, a saving grace, as I s**t the bed in my “real” league.
Here’s the first round matchups:
- squeaky wheels
- Team America
- Sphinx Treecats
- team darkness
Myself (krytime) and Spitzer Swallows (DCRumbler) got the byes. Travis Henry is my dad (kaisertown), Tig O’ Bitties, Gridiron Monsters, and Fine Ass Jills didn’t make the cut.
I started out slow, right from the draft, errantly taking Manning with my 1st. Lots of waiver wire movement barely got me ahead of Team America (Foreign Arrow). We’ll see what happens from here.
Were there any “no shows” in BR1? For the record (insert crying baby sound here), I wanted to be in that division soooo bad, just to beat up on BG, Kurupt, and especially sireric.

Wouldn’t have been too tough….his team was done 5 minutes into the season
Ron from NM was a no show, other than that, mostly everyone stayed for the majority of the season….

I was doomed as soon as I took Brady with my first overall pick.
terrible QB play really killed me the rest of the season.

No and no.
Yeah I picked up J.T. O’sullivan, Brian Griese, Kyle Orton, Gus Frerotte, Brady Quinn, Matt Cassel, and Chad Pennington.
Example of my luck, Matt Cassel is on my bench, puts up 40+ points 2 week in a row. I put him in for my season finale, he gives me a 0.86
No My wife got me tickets for the 12/14 game in Jersey vs the Jets.

I'm sorry for laughing here.
Wait a minute – no I’m not. You actually had a week where you thought it was a “good idea” to start Gus Frerotte? And then another week where JT O’sullivan was a sure bet? My sides are splitting…
I’m just busting chops my man.
Thank your wife for not getting tickets to this last game. Wow, what a good move that was in hindsight.
Really? Brian Griese too? You’d have been better off starting Aaron Merz….

If there’s a week to start Gus Frerotte, it’s definitely this week. Detroit is a cure-all for ailing fantasy owners.

The last time I started Frerotte was when they played the Lions last, he put up 30 points that week if I’m not mistaken.

That’s good news, because I NEED him to do well this week in one of my other leagues.
For the record, folks, I’m a combined 34-15 in my four leagues this year. First time I’ve had winning records in 4+ leagues in a couple years. I’m jacked up about it. :D

I picked him up as a backup. I’m having QB issues in said league, yet despite that am 7-6. My starter is Jason Campbell, who has sucked lately and is playing Baltimore this week. So I’m pinch-hitting with Frerotte, and right now, it’s looking like a strong play.

I understand.
I’d go with him too, keeping any QB I have away from a Ravens D. A lot of people are saying this is the Lions’ last shot to avoid a winless season. I disagree; I think they had that shot already. I see Minnesota rolling, even though they got lucky against them last time.

I'll admit it
I thought JT O-Sullivan would put up monster numbers, I was kid of upset when sireric picked him up. I even think he was on my roster temporarily. That was a mistake.

After his first game straight out of the Pistol formation the whole time I knew that his talent level didn’t matter. Anyone that is going to be throwing that much, regardless of skill, is going to put up numbers, ala Jon Kitna

I had an overall solid group of players, and honestly with some of the guys churning their roster over on a weekly basis, I just watched the waiver wire for second tier solid performers.

I am last in points scored among the playoff teams, but I am also first in the enitre RPL league in points allowed — I must have a good defense(?) (b/t/w, my defense team is the Bills).
