The Buffalo Bills, losers of seven of their past eight games, are set to play out their penultimate 2008 regular season matchup in Denver, where the 8-6 Broncos are looking to cross their t's and dot their i's on an AFC West divisional championship.
Rarely has excitement for a Bills game been lower. If you can stomach it, join us in today's open game thread (which is a load of fun regardless of the Bills' on-field performance) for the second-to-last time this season. Can the Bills win a meaningless (for them) game in another also-ran season? Likely not, but we'll cheer them on all the same - even if we're suckers for doing so.

My daughter was finally born 12/19/08 @ 4:23 PM all 7 lb 10 oz and 20 inches of her…..

I know, this is painful, at least I can watch competent teams play every week with it though
btw, best way to cut costs down is order it and make a deal with a couple of friends who want to watch their team as well if they aren’t local. I used to do that to keep the cost down by charging them for it.

Not able to watch the game so I have a serious question
Do the Bills look like they have quit? And I don’t mean in a “these guys are losers” kind of way. I mean, does it look like they just don’t care. I ask because I think it reflects on the head coach. The team may be out of playoffs but the team should still be fighting hard just for pride’s sake. If the Bills seem to have quit I think it reflects on how people always say that they fight hard for their coach. They say they love him and support him but it’s easy to say that in a warm training room. What do they show on a cold field? If it’s nothing than I don’t believe that he can be brought back no matter the cost.

best basketball coach i ever had was in highschool…he was a no nonsense coach and i couldnt say we loved him at all, respected to the utmost… thats what is needed

there is no “quit” but its a whole lot easier to give up on a play, not push as hard, not run out the play, etc. when you know there is nothing to play for. Granted there should always be pride to play for but thats not too much anymore

At first I was disappointed missing the 2nd half of this game,
