he is already mentioned on NFL.com as not being interesting in coaching in 09.......
why would the “JETS” be able to change his mind?

I apologize if you thought I meant it as a shot to you…….not my intention at all.

source?
typically u add a source when ur attempting to cite what a website says. everything ive read said that cowher does not want to leave the “family life” and that he is not interested in coaching in 2009

I’m too lazy to look for a link right now, but this is being reported by an ESPN Radio affiliate in NYC.

Cleveland
My friend’s real estate firm was just hired to find a home for a former Browns player looking to relocate from NC. Cohwer is heading to Cleveland.
He is from Pittsburgh, played in Cleveland. And Unlike Buffalo, Cleveland wants a winner and is willing to pay for it!

Well, that contrasts directly with Cowher telling Randy Lerner to leave his name off of his coaching list…
Isn’t it possible that we could be talking about, say, Bernie Kosar?

This reminds me of every time you hear about some pop star who’s definitely going to attend your college.

Cowher not going to interview because he won’t be able to bring in his own coaches with him.
Sweet news.
Now – Buffalo – Fire DJ and Schonert and EVERYONE not named Bobby April and lets do this thing the right way

I thought it was because he won’t be able to bring in his own GM, or have that power himself. PFT has it right – Mike Tannenbaum is Cowher’s issue in NY.

yeah – it said personnel director. my bad.
good news though – i’d rather not have Parcells, Billichick and Cowher in our division while we have Dick Jauron. That would just be unfair for us Bills fans

Haha yeah, Parcells/Belichick/Cowher vs. “The Inner Circle” would have sucked. It’s bad enough already…

"After reaching out to Coach Cowher’s representatives, we were informed tonight that he is not a candidate for the position," said Jets team spokesman Bruce Speight.
