Why a safety?
Why do some people say we need a safety (either FS or SS)
Bills Fans, like most of us, I enjoy reading too much about our favorite team, and am a first time poster.
So I have seen a few people say that FS/SS could be an option for us in the draft (first few rounds). I don't see the need for us to spend a high draft pick on a safety. Witner has been solid (not yet a game changer though) and Ko Simpson was also solid is his first year, is it possible people just forgot about him b/c he missed all of last year?
I'm just wondering what rational people have that our safety tandem of Witner/Simpson needs to be changed, I think it's fine as is. We still have higher priorities IMO (WR, TE, CB, DT, QB?)

Re:
The Bills need depth at the position. They've shown in the past two years that they like to keep 5 safeties; they've got 3 solid ones in Whitner, Simpson and Wilson. Look for the team to keep John Wendling on the roster as a specialist; he could be tried out at corner as well. I don't expect the Bills to use a draft pick on a safety - if the team wants another depth player, it'll very likely be Bryan Scott or Jim Leonhard.

Don't agree.....
Round 1. CB - Love Jenkins
Round 2. WR - Move up to get Hardy
Round 3. TE - Bennett??
It would make me very happy if we traded down in round one to get another second.
I LOVE what we have done in the offseason and I am excited to see who we draft!!!!
