Darrell Jackson was cut by the 9ers after the worst statistical season in his career. He's still only 29 years old and has been pretty healthy throughout his 7 seasons in the NFL. I like him more than Hacket, he's definitely more of a proven commodity. He's a reliable starter who doesn't have trouble scoring TD's when he's healthy. I think he could be more than a "stopgap" for a rookie, but a solid playmaker who could aso bring some veteran leadership at the #2 WR position. I don't know what the 49ers were expecting him to do in that anemic offense and Alex "my little brother" Smith tossing him the pigskin, but Jackson is a serious upgrade over Peerless Price at #2. What more could you ask for? (I know everbody wants some height, but there a lot of good offenses that don't have tall receivers... e.g. Seattle, Green Bay, Indi, Pittsburgh, Philly, etc...)
STOP OBSESSING ABOUT HEIGHT!!! THAT'S WHAT TE'S ARE FOR!!!
