Devil's Advocate: What makes Leodis the best corner in the draft?

First let me say that I like the fact that the Bills could have traded down but insisted on taking their pick in the corner crop for the 08 draft.  Let me also say that although I'm fairly versed for draft prospects, I never saw McKelvin actually play at Troy and have depended on scouting reports and highlight videos.  My question is, what makes this kid the best corner in the entire draft?  Not saying he isn't but just asking if anyone here knows what separates him from DRC, Jenkins, Flowers, and the others. Why was he considered by some to be a top-10 pick?

All I know is that the highlight videos on him showed me near to nothing about the skills we need.  I saw him make a easy deflection INT, an overthrown fly INT, and a BUNCH of INT/KR/PR returns which did not impress me in the least.  Then you see videos of Jenkins, Flowers, and DRC making athletic picks, blasting the helmets off WRs, and sifting through traffic in run support.  For me at least, I hope the "added versatilty" of him as a returnman and on special teams didn't play much into the Bills' mind when they got him at ll.  So what makes this kid the top dog?  Certainly not his interview skills (just joking).  Thanks!
