I have full faith in our team, and I believe we will be picking at the 16th spot thank you very much!

Honestly, I can’t really understand how the hell these guys all can start claiming to predict where and when teams will pick right now. We have to play the damn season first, and as everyone knows, any team can beat another team on any given sunday. We may go 12-4 or 4-12 but, ummmmm, we gotta PLAY these first! Argh, I hate it, its like people grading the draft right after it happens.

The ONLY way to grade a team after draft day is to assess what did the team need to get in the draft, and did it fill that hole? We cannot tell how a guy will pan out for 3 seasons at least or how they will fit the scheme over time. I hate stuff like this.

Todd McShay has us pick at #17 in 2009. It seems no one has that great of expectations for us. Here’s the link.

at least he is projecting us with the first overall TE.

Trent has to prove it this year and we all know JP isn’t capable of leading us to the playoffs. The guy did say he hated putting us that low (#10), so he seems to like the rest of our team.

BTW, I’m already on the George Selvie (DE South Florida) bandwagon. The guy is a monster and will make my Derrick Harvey fawning look tame. He had 14.5 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss last year. It should be noted that the NCAA record is 32 TFL’s, so that’s a good indication of the kind of player he is.

Ok so I’m no Jim Mora but I find this guys ranking hysterical – the Jets pick after us next year? Forgot that their QB situation was so solid with Chad “ouch my shoulder” Pennington and Kellen “the Pope Kissed my baby!” Clemens. Terrence Pennington is a better QB then Chad right now!

btw Perloff looks like he would have trouple dead lifting a wet towel off the locker room floor. Here’s to us picking in the last 3rd of round 1 next year – without trading down!
