The team statement confirmed that the Bills have spoken with Hardy about the alleged incident, in which Hardy was accused of brandishing a licensed firearm. The statement reads as follows.
"We have spoken to law enforcement officials and they have informed us that they looked into this and have no plans to pursue the matter any further. We also spoke to James last night and will continue to speak with him today, but indications are that this matter has been resolved."

Grrrr
I’d prefer Buffalo stay away from these types. It’s not that I demand a team of choir boys, it’s just that often these types are more trouble than they’re worth. No one who wasn’t there knows what happened, but we do know that Hardy has found himself in troubling situations several documented times already in his young life. Whether he’s the root cause or it’s his environment, Buffalo is really rolling the dice on the type of player they’ve been good at avoiding for the most part over the years. In my view, avoiding guys with character issues is not a moral decision- it’s a football decision. In this case at the very least, a sketchy kid appears like he has a tendency to be “around” trouble. I don’t even want to think about the worst case scenario that this indicates.
Never forget 56-10. Revenge.
