STLtoday.com - Temple cut by Browns, picked up by Bills
After failing to make the Cleveland Browns' roster over the weekend, former Missouri running back Tony Temple got an invite to Buffalo's next mini-camp. Looks like the Bills went after that speed back after all.
I'll have more interesting topics of discussion up either late this morning or early this afternoon. End-of-college finals preparations are killing my posting routine...

Solid signing at this point
I thought this guy was a potential late round pick for us. However, at this point I’m not sure where he’d fit in other than as a PS player.

Does he beat out Freddie or Wright?
The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.

Absolutely not. Not this year. He has talent, but he needs a LOT of refinement. Jackson is safe for now; Wright and Omon are also way ahead of Temple at this point.

Why another Running Back?
Are we planning to bring back the single wing? Thats the only explanantion I can have for all these RB signings. Otherwise, our Practice Squad will be 4 deep in Running Backs this fall.

It’s not like we’re going to keep him… he’s just a talented training camp body.
