Sunday Football Vid: Laying 2007 to Rest

This is it, folks.  The final Sunday before the Buffalo Bills' 2008 Training Camp opens.  Just five days from today, the Bills will be strapping on the pads once again as they prepare for the 2008 season, and I, for one, could not be more ecstatic.

In this, our final installment of the Sunday Football Vid this off-season, we'll recap all of the best plays from the 2007 season in two excellent highlight videos put together by themcwaffle.  Enjoy your last peek at 2007; from now on, we're focused solely on what's to come in the 2008 tackle football season.

I really liked the first vid

The only problem is It shows all of Buffalo’s highlights from last year AND IT’S ONLY 6:52 LONG!! I really hope next years clip is much longer.

The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.

Actually, it’s part one of two. So really, both are one video, which means we’ve got just shy of 14 minutes of highlights from last season.

Ha! So it is

I would still like to see twice as much time next year.

Nice vids. Makes me think.....

How did Buffalo lose that Dallas game again?

That Lynch 1st TD against Denver was awesome. He may not have breakaway speed, but he runs like his hair is on fire (to borrow from the original scouting report on A. Winfield). Here’s to hoping he stays healthy with that running style. He just likes to run into things, doesn’t he?

How did Buffalo lose that game against Denver?

McKee McKee McGee has some feet. Why doesn’t he get mentioned in the Hester lovefest again?

What’s the song in the second half of the first video?

I applauded Edwards and his efforts in the Redskin game. I forgot what a sure footed stud Lindell was in that game…

Who was #28 in the game against the Eagles who made a TD catch that was called back? Shaud Williams, right? I forget; didn’t catch that whole game. That was a nice effort though…

Highlights against the Fins shouldn’t be included in, well, highlight clips. They were an embarrassment to tackle football last year.

I don’t know how we lost that Dallas game, but it has a lot to do with Dick Jauron. More poor game mismanagement down the stretch.

???? I don’t know what you are talking about here. Shaud Williams last played a down in 2006. Anthony Thomas was #28 in 2007, and he was on IR by the end of the year. And the Bills didn’t have a TD called back against the Eagles from what I remember. Are you thinking of some other game?

Yup. My bad..

I just went back and watched the highlight again (1st one). It was from the Jax game, and it was indeed an A-Train TD. I forgot he was the #1 guy that game.

Just an FYI – that A-Train touchdown wasn’t called back, either. Very legitimate, and one of the cooler touchdowns the Bills scored last season…

Yeah - I know...

I said that because I was assuming it was against Philly, and I new there were no TDs in that game. And you’re right – that was one of the cooler TDs from last year. I’m just upset with myself for not remembering it. After all, we didn’t have that many TDs to begin with!!

Anyone know what that song was in the first video yet?

Watch the second clip all the way through, it gives a short credits in which it names the songs.

The first clip has two songs.
the first is – Give it all, by Rise Against.
the second is Extreme Ways, by Moby.

Thanks man. I appreciate the look up.

I had that rift stuck in my head. I’m sure you know what it’s like when you have a tune in your head, and don’t know what the heck it is….
