As promised, Buffalo Rumblings Fantasy Football is about to take flight! I'd like to apologize for the delay in getting this project rolling; we've worked through some issues behind the scenes and are now full steam ahead for this year's fantasy football season.
This year, we will have three Rumblings fantasy leagues. We had 30 brave bloggers from this site sign up, and thus we'll have three ten-team leagues: the Rumblings Premiere League (RPL) and two other leagues who will compete for a spot in the RPL next season.

The four contributing authors of Buffalo Rumblings - myself, Kurupt, sireric and jri111 - are pleased to (finally) announce the blog names of the six players who will be joining us in this year's RPL. Each of you entered your email address into a random drawing, and these are the six names that won the random drawing... congratulations!

Apologies to the folks who missed out on the random drawing; you're just stuck in one of the other two (identical, really) Rumblings fantasy leagues. The first league (creatively called "Rumblings League 2") will be headed up graciously by commissioner Krenn.

Does anyone know the roster size and scoring settings? If you don’t know them off the top of your head, don’t worry about it. I was just curious.
If the 2nd and 3rd league draft at different times, is there any way to allow some shuffling between the teams in the two leagues so that as many rumblers as possible can make the draft?

We’re going to be flexible with draft dates. The leagues will stay as is, unfortunately; they’re too much of a pain to re-configure once everyone is signed up. We’ll work hard to get as many people to the 3 live drafts as possible.

thats pretty standard. I would love to add the RB/WR flex spot. The deeper the league the better if you ask me.

But would still like to join the third league. My e-mail is rstaffeld@roadrunner.com. If you check the original message for this fantasy league I did sign up. I’m not sure what happened??? I don’t use any other e-mail except this one.( they did make me change to roadrunner.com from adelphia.net though?)

We may be totted as #3, but let me tell you this league is not for the meek….I’ll be sure to make the league as good as possible and hope everyone can keep it competitive all year long.

It’s the only way to explain how I wound up in ‘Premiere’ anything. I suspect that I’m in for a season long Dolphins-esque stomping… Will someone be mercifully posting a primer on how to play for those (few) of us who are completely clueless?

Fantasy football is the greatest invention since peanut butter and jelly. Good luck to you guys, I won my first league so don’t count yourselves out. As you play more you’ll want to join more and more complex leagues to add strategy. I am so excited.

Just a quick comment/question/suggestion/offer
I’m thinking each week, say Wed/Thurs, there should be a post recapping the weekend’s fantasy results for each of the leagues. I’d be happy to do ours, Brian, and I’m sure someone from the other two would be happy to do their’s as well.
