FYI: Derek Fine is getting a lot of first team work. Helluva receiver and athlete. Xavier Omon is taking the majority of second team work (Lynch and Jackson were splitting plays). Coaches are always on Chris Ellis, good and bad. You can tell that they think he's going to contribute.

Stick'em?
He needs to carry the ball wherever he goes. I still like the draft pick, but hey, you can’t win’em all.
Love to hear they’re hard on Ellis. He looked down right nasty coming after leftwich and I want more. He is a good part of the rotation if he plays well
The Bills CAN win every game

Thanks for the report 289.
I know that Fine wasn’t everyones first pick for a TE in the draft but count me in his corner. Forgive the pun but he’ll be fine.
The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.

It wasn't until after I sent that email that I realized
that Fine is getting first team reps because Schouman is out. That being said he looked like he belonged and impressed me much more than Derek1 has this year. He even lined up in the H-Back spot a few times. He has great hands and despite being (supposedly) slow is quite athletic. I really could see him developing into a Chris Cooley lite. He definitely has the work ethic too. He was the last one off the field, staying even longer than I did, working on his positioning and route running and then catching balls while laying on his back.
Also of note, the only other players to stick around for extra work were some of the linemen on the lower half of the depth chart… and Brad Butler. He was helping Bell, Gaddis and two others with their footwork and hands. Gotta love seeing that.
