that is unreal. If Jauron did that, fans would have his head on a platter….unless of course Peters is out of shape. If Peters is in shape and takes the week to learn the line calls and get reps, I don’t see how he couldn’t play.

Peters hasn’t played football since December of 2007. Jauron’s right to be cautious if this turns out to be true.

That is true

but to potentially rule him out already and say he wouldn’t start him, well that would be nuts. If Peters is in shape and ready to go outside of the audibles, terms and whatever else mentally, why wouldn’t he start?

I don’t believe this report as it is. I’m not going to overthrow a report by Adam Schefter that completely contradicts this rumor. It’d be nice if it manifested itself as truth, but I’m not holding my breath.
