This is it, Buffalo Bills fans.  The 2008 pre-season is about to reach its end.  The Buffalo Bills are a half hour away from kicking off their pre-season finale, a home affair against the Detroit Lions, and there is plenty to be excited for.  The regular season is just around the corner.

Regrettably, I won't be able to join y'all in tonight's open game thread festivities, but as all of you are excellent, I'm sure the place will be in good hands during my absence (and by absence, I mean I'll be at the game).

If you're looking for the best place to discuss the game live as it happens, well, your search need not continue.  If you don't have an account, go ahead and create a free one and hop on in to talk about tonight's game.  I'll have a recap up later on tonight, once I make the trip back from The Ralph.  Enjoy tonight's festivities, folks, and - as always - GO BILLS.

i think they will keep more linemen this year

since peters is being a pecker and there are some injuries they will probably have to carry more guys on the line. they may stash some of the young guys on the practice squad

he’s only in his 2nd year and wasn’t on the active roster last year….he’s an excellent choice for the PS because he doesn’t have an NFL body, at least to contribute, quite yet. He’s got some ability but needs more time to grow and learn.

pats suck because

they have nobody at cornerback, their linebackers are old and they only have two great receivers instead of three, which makes them more manageable on offense. offensive line is also getting old and less effective. plus brady has a foot injury and isnt even practicing

Hall finished the preseason with 20-71 rushing (3.55 avg), 4-43 receiving. Wright was 34-80 rushing (2.35 avg.), 1-6 receiving… and THREE fumbles.
