These are quick thoughts of the most meaningless game of the year.
Dwayne Wright is done...safety, fumble, penalty on special teams...his career is in jeopardy. He just looks small, runs small, is not good. Omon is everything we thought Wright would have been.
Chris Ellis looked okay, but got blown up on the Lions touchdown pass...if you look at that again, he was just bone-rattlingly-hit. Otherwise, he played okay, and hhas good size, and good potential.
Steve Johnson stays...he has alot of talent and showed up as a special teams tackler...he knows how to stay on the Bills. 5 or 6 WRs, he is on the team. Good hands as well.
I don't want to see Hamdan in any regular season games
Glad Hardy got reps...he looks like he has learned a thing or two in training camp...thank god. He seemed like the only starter out there.
Copeland Bryan made a statement...he was everywhere, and if he doesn't stick here, he has a job somewhere else
Youboty earned a spot...looks better than McKelvin, but McKelvin is just inconsistent...and will get better. Maybe we drafted CB high, knowing we wouldn't need him on D this year, but know he is a great playmaker in the making.
McKelvin needs to get smarter...we took a gmble on him during the draft. He is dangerous on kick return though...I say let him return kicks, Parrish on Punts, and let McGee focus on Randy Moss and the rest of the WR foes this season
Bell looked pretty good for a late round rookie...except for letting Hamdan almost get killed, he had a pretty good night. Mind you against second and thirds, but he has a future. He got something from the "Mailman", even though he doesn't see him...I'd say we just got "The Paper Boy"...lets hope he delivers...F Peters
Simpson looked a bit stiff, when he made the play early on....Calvin johnson would have snatched that ball out of the sky and made him look like a fool...better shape up
Thats it I guess, good bye preseason, hello Seahawks...One game at a time, and I know....(check the sig)
