This is not a mirage

Professional Tool Don Banks has this to say in his "Snap Judgments":

what's not to love about Bills' second-year starting quarterback Trent Edwards? He completed 80 percent of his passes at Jacksonville, going 20 of 25 for 239 yards and a 119.8 passer rating in Buffalo's 20-16 upset of the 0-2 Jaguars.

These Bills are for real, folks. This is not a mirage of a 2-0 start in western New York.

What’s wrong with Banks? I don’t find him as useless as guys like Peter King, Mortenson, Clayton, etc…

Nothing

Accidental attempt at humor. I didn’t make my minimum word requirements (apparently by 2 words), so I tacked “professional tool” and that did the trick.

i'll

savor this win. i’m going with the “one game at a time” mentality. Cuz that way I don’t get crushed if they start tanking and I can enjoy the ride if they keep it up.

I love how this team is penalty-free so much. No false starts, off-sides, or stupid penalties so far. That goes a long ways to making things easier on your football team

there were a couple of dumb penalties, one being the offside on the kickoff by Costanzo. the last thing you want is to run down the field 2x in 100+ degree weather. thank god that didn’t cost us. another was a block in the back on a punt return. the old saying goes, “if you can see the name/number on the back of the jersey then don’t hit him”.
The tackling was suspect but I would think it was from being on the field so long in the 3rd qtr. they regrouped well and finished the game strong. regardless of who Jax was missing it was a quality win against a team that absolutely needed the win in their home opener.
