Good Teams .....

Good teams win even when they aren't playing particularly well.  That is what happened today.  Oakland is a bad team.  Their defensive line played well (especially the first half), they won the field position battle, got some strange turnovers ie: Evans fumble, and the simultaneous possession.  But they couldn't close.  If you keep giving a good team an opportunity to beat you, they will, and we did.  The Buffalo Bills are a good team, keep your head up high Bills Fans!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

good

I’m not ready to crown em as Denny Green would say, but they are doing something that is so fun to watch “learning to win.” See what you have to understand is that we have seen numerous ways our Bills have lost over the last 8 years. Now we are starting to see new ways you can win. Every team wins ugly, big, lucky games. Its the NFL. Teams are all good, with skilled players and talent, it is just some teams have the “it” factor that allows them to put it together when they have to. That is what we saw today. We saw a real confident offense led by a 2nd year QB who is a star in the making.

For any of you who have played sports. It’s like when you know you are better than your opponent, and for whatever reason you haven’t played well all game, but you know in your head all you have to do is execute and the game is stiill yours. That’s what we saw out of Trent today and this Bills team. They knew, they thought, the expected to WIN. When is the last frick’n time we have seen that???

Sleep well, enjoy your morning cup of coffee, because life is good right now being a Bills fan!

every good team has a slip up like this (patriots wit the dolphins last year) where the game is closer than it should be. the bills had turn overs where they shouldnt have but what ever. trent picked up it up and led his team to a victory. i think that last 2 drives meant more than just a win for buffalo fans. i think that trent is our new franchise qb. for real this time. not only did he orchestrate 1 td drive to bring the game within winning contention but he did it again when the raiders got the huge td. any other season i would have said game over but trent led his team to a td. awesome. just pure awesome

coming in to their own

im soo frickin psyched that our beloved bills currently sit atop the afc east all alone. miami downs and i mean DOWNS the new england patriots, which makes me think….
jets beat miami
pats beat jets
miami beat pats
seems like the bills have to be considered the faqvorite in this division.

im just really pleased that trent is making such strides. its so nice to see a bills qb that doesnt buckle under pressure, and actually seems to strive when faced with adversity.

Kind of odd that those 3 games all had the road team win. We may indeed be considered the favorite in the division, but I’d still put the Pats there. Until they are dethroned, and we are part of that dethroning, they are the team to beat. We have looked better than them thus far, but there’s still a long season ahead of us….We have to follow suit and beat those teams on the road….while also protecting our home turf….

agree

we definatley need to win some division games on the road. we showed a strong road performance last week in jacksonville. im gettin tired of my co-workers giving me crap (they’re jets fans) telling me the bills might as well be playing high school teams. i just had to tell them today how much im looking forwward to the bills jets game in november. untill then we’ll just have to see how the division shakes up.

BRING ON THE RAMS!!!! YEAH BILLS WHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
