kicking protects against two field goals beating us, I guess. and added to another field goal still wins against a touchdown plus two-pointer?

but a TD is a game-winner. i guess it comes down to what happens more often, and that’s not something we can answer intuitively. are there sims that answer this question? are they found on the web?
