The Bills kept them on the practice squad in 2008 for a reason. Now looking ahead to 2009 Buffalo made sure to keep all of them in the fold, signing all seven players on the squad at season’s end to future free agent contracts.
OL Chris Denman, LB Vince Hall, WR C.J. Hawthorne, WR Felton Huggins, WR Mike Jefferson, OL Brandon Rodd and DL Marcus Smith.

This isn’t exactly news, every team in the league will bring almost everybody (if not everybody) who is an ERFA back into training camp because they are so cheap. That said, Corto and Bryan made the team out of camp and Costanzo was active almost the entire year and had a great special teams season. It is always worth keeping an eye on these guys in OTAs, training camp and the preseason.
I hope we don’t have a handful of these guys making the team again….shows how poor the talent is on this team if undrafted and street free agents keep making the team….

I pretty much agree. You do need 53 guys to make the team though and after injuries, you end up with a bunch more guys on the roster. You need Blake Costanzo’s to fill cheap, important special teams roles and George Wilson types to be decent backups.
yup, agreed
We’ll see one or two make the team depending on how the draft and FA go…
Now if only this gopher could play DE, we would be doing better, I mean, who couldn't play better than the corpse brothers Kelsay and Denney?
