"I’m Ko Simpson with the Buffalo Bills. I am worth millions"
So for those of you who haven't heart Mr. Simpson was arrested for obstruction of justice or something of the sort in his home town.
The quote will stick with him for the rest of his Bills career which might only be this offseason anyway. However, I do think he has potential to be a decent FS.
I am sure someone has more details all of my details came from the Associated Press release.

But he's worth millions!!!!
I guess Simpson’s underpaid then ($445k base salary).

great
attitude, we’re two weeks removed from the most devastating seasonal collapse in the NFL this year (yes ours was worse then the Cowboys and Redskins) and our players are out partying and getting arrested. Wow….
Kawika Mitchell is a leader. He will help this young team develop.

I drive a Dodge Stratus!!
So you play for the Buffalo Bills and that’s supposed to impress the cops? Give me a break. Even before this incident, I viewed Simpson as a complete disaster last year and now I’d cut him immediately to use as an example for the rest of this pathetic team heading into the offseason. We don’t need a repeat of last year with Lynch, Parrish, and Hardy all causing distractions. Gotta love all the character this organization has brought in- it sure makes it easy to ignore all the losing. “I play for the Buffalo Bills!” Too many people around this team are far too pleased with themselves and their subpar performances.

i don’t think the distractions really did anything to be honest. maybe amongst media types but thats about it – never heard anything once from OBD about distractions or anything regarding these players.
i guess character is one thing to look at – but i want good players. i’m not willing to go the Bengals route – but some of that stuff isn’t that big of a deal. maybe your more of a stickler than i am – but i think there is a lot of “nanny state” stuff happening in the NFL now and it gets way over blown.
especially when you look at Lynch’s situation. My brother is an attorney in Buffalo and he says those incidents happen every week down there and it just got blown out of porportion because of who he is. I know they are set to a higher standard – but come on. i remember when Kelly was getting into fights at bars and no one was blowing that out of porportion. why? because we won. lets get some winners
Maybe now you'll never slime a guy with a positron collider

Agreed BenSam - Cut Him
Send a message to the other young millionaires now so the offseason does not contain more distractions.
Perfect opportunity to start being a disciplinarian DJ!

HAHAHAHAH
now that’s funny. Cut him. He’s worthless anyhow. So Slow, and terrible tackler. I can’t stand seeing him one more year. We need a vet back there, or let Scott and Whitner roll
YES SEND A MESSAGE. TOUGH LOVE COVENANT! CUT HIS A** ASAP

I agree, but it’s not really much of a message when he might have been cut anyway (because he’s lousy). A better message would be to cut him and Jauron.

Cut him?
We don’t even know if he did anything besides make himself a laughingstock. Hindering a police investigation could be him not shutting up when the cop told him to (in order to talk to the driver of the car). You do see this all the time in professional sports. I don’t know how many of you watch The Ultimate Fighter but the same sort of thing happened. One of their idiots was headed to the big finale and got himself hammered in Vegas the night before going home. He then started abusing female guests at hotels and kicking out windows….screaming at security guys that he was a UFC fighter….as if they would make any difference.

Thanks
Thanks to whoever changed my post to the correct link.
As others said I dont really think he did anything wrong other than act like a drunk jackass. Sounds like a typical case of running your month and it shouldn’t affect his status with the Bills. They gave Hargrove a 2nd chance and didn’t punish Lynch so it wouldnt be a proper lesson to cut Simpson for such a minor violation. If he gets cut it will be because of his quality of play.
However, anytime his name gets mentioned I surely hope this quote follows because it made my laugh on a relatively slow January 2nd.

I don’t think you cut him right now. In fact, I think that sends the opposite message that you want to send. The whole, we will cut you right away if you screw up …… unless you are one of our best players is pretty hypocritical. Let him come to camp and not make the team all on his own. If it is one of the things the coaches consider when making camp cuts, then that is fine, but all he did was yell at some cops, he’s not exactly Michael Vick.
Oh, and this story is HILARIOUS.

I agree
While this is not the kind of behavior we want to see, being drunk, acting stupid, and yelling at police is not something I am going to get all worked up about. Just the fact that he admitted to being a Bill and tried to use it to impress someone tells us how drunk he was. If Ko gets cuts, it will not be because of this.

hahaha, how sadly true that is.
If Ko gets cuts, it will not be because of this.
I hope not. If the team is willing to help Marshawn after the hit and run and drafted Hardy after a history of screw ups, but then cuts Simpson because of one fairly minor incident because he is a mediocre player to begin with then they are being about as unfair as you can.
And in all honesty it is stupid to cut players for non salary cap reasons before training camp anyways. The 80th player they bring in to camp won’t be as good as Simpson, so you at least have to sign another safety or draft one fairly early before you can even begin to consider cutting him.

He won't be cut for running his mouth
If he gets cut (which I don’t think will happen) it will be for poor play. Look at his cap number though: 2009: $530,000 (thank Rotoworld). The only way he gets cuts is if it comes down to it during the final roster cutdown in the preseason.

haha
What a tool
Worth millions? Right Ko, you’ve probably gotten about 1-2 million in your 3 years and I bet that’s mostly gone. Good luck with that next contract.
He stinks anyhow. He has been a very poor player for us in his time here, so no big loss if they do cut him, other than for depth….

I think some of the other things that might have been said were
“Bills? Doesn’t that mean Boy I Love Losing Superbowls?”
“Worth millions? More like $1.22 down in the clink kid”
“You and my son both think your proffessional football players, only issue is my kid is 5 and he is still better than you”
Now if only this gopher could play DE, we would be doing better, I mean, who couldn't play better than the corpse brothers Kelsay and Denney?

Taylor Mayes and Donte Witner…I guess I’m dreaming though.

Simpson on his way out
Ko has never been able to develop since his promising rookie season, and is now a backup behind Bryan Scott, who did a very good job filling in. Scott is a great run-stopper and is very athletic for a 225 pound man. I could live with Scott starting the upcoming season at SS, since we’ve much bigger needs.

KO'd
Admitting to be a Buffalo Bill deserves some credit, doesn’t it?
Seriously though, if he wasn’t stoned or drunk, we need to find out what his Wonderlic score was.
This season has been the worst feeling ever provided by our Bills...a feeling of humiliation. Starting out 5-1 and finishing in last place has been a very cruel tease.
