Many years ago, USC head coach Pete Carroll worked under a great defensive coordinator at Arkansas. That coordinator was none other than Monte Kiffin, architect of the Tampa 2 scheme, head of the coaching tree of which Perry Fewell is a branch, and the coordinator of the exact type of defense the Bills are attempting to run. This is a speech that Carroll made which delved into the intricacies of Kiffin's defense, which Carroll refers to as the "4-3 Under" defense. For you junkies out there, this is a fascinating read - and as the defense portrayed here is strikingly similar to what the Bills employ, it also gives you an indication of what the Bills are lacking in personnel. Give this a read and leave your comments. Should make for some brilliant discussion, and I'm positive that Kurupt will have a lot to say as well. The link comes from Kurupt himself.
