Maybin training for Draft, gaining weight
Most of the article isn't overly important in these parts, but the part that stuck out to me is that he's put on 8 lbs. in a week, putting him around 250. Assuming he doesn't lose agility with the added weight, anyone thinking he's a more viable option at the #11 pick than before (assuming he doesn't go higher)?

He’s top two on my list, and he was there before he gained 8 pounds in a week.

I love the guy, but I was wary of his development time, and this is helping to assuage that. I’m curious to see what his combine stats are, but I’d love him to come our way.

ESPN has him #1 at DE and Scott Wright has him #4 behind Orakpo, Brown and Jackson. As I said before he is the biggest question mark in this draft as to where he will go. I’d put him in the top 2 also with Brown. He was disruptive against USC in the Rose Bowl. That’s the only game I saw him play. Probably the fastest off the edge and a relentless pursuer. If he does weigh 250 now it will be very interesting to see his combine numbers.
everything goes better with a BIG MACK
And for the Penn State fans...
Is Maurice Evans any good. Would he be worth going after in the 4th/5th round as a second DE pick???

Good point
Someone is going to get a bargin with Maurice Evans in a later round.

Well I wasn’t making any point, just questioning whether he’d be a solid mid rounder with upside!!! Anybody know?

If he stays motivated, he’s a beast. After he got busted for possession and missed three games, he struggled to get back on the field over Maybin, and generally didn’t seem interested.
That said, I’d love to see the Bills take a chance on him, we could definitely do worse.
