49-13 so far, so good
My picks happen to line completely up with MRW’s this week.
Cin @ BAL – Cincy’s offense is good enough to beat Baltimore on the road
Cle @ BUF – Not as close as many will predict
PIT @ Det – Detroit D continues to deploy the unconventional Sponge strategy
Was @ CAR – Snyder’s getting redder by the week
DAL @ Kc – Who won the West? Cowboys or Indians?
Tb @ PHI – Easy like Sunday Mornin’
MIN @ Stl – Boller will keep the Rams interesting, but not competitive
Oak @ NYG – Manning is just one man. The Giants crush.
Atl @ SF – I’ll say it again, the 49ers are going to compete this year
Hou @ ARI – Going w/home team here, but Cards have to keep Super Mario off Warner
NE @ Den – Denver can’t sustain this climb, and the Pats know how to finish
JAC @ Sea – Hasselbeck nearly leads them back, but the Seattle defense is too leaky
IND @ Ten – Manning won’t be stopped
NYJ @ Mia – So many better things to do on a Monday night than watch Satan battle the Antichrist

SF is actually favored and playing at home..I don’t see this as much of an upset

I just assumed Atlanta would be favored
They’ve got the solid QB play and their defense is at least respectable.
They and Denver are too trendy for reality, they need to be brought back down to earth.

SF shouldn’t be considered an upset pick. That team is good now. I enjoy it when they’re good. That team is hard to dislike, even if you’re not a fan.

In my defense, I’ve been saying this for a while. But alright, you got me, it is fairly vague even then. I like them to win the division title. Yeah, it’s the NFC West, but it’s a tougher NFC West than has been seen in quite some time. The Cardinals aren’t going away and with Hasselbeck back and Jones running strong, the Seahawks could challenge.

are picks are the most lined up since we started this
8 agree on Ravens, 7 on Bills, unanimous on Panthers, 8 on Giants, etc. Its obvious things are starting to flesh themselves out but also an indication of how muchwe rush to judge the first quarter of the season. A lot of football left…I’m going to go out on a limb and say the Seahawks start to heat up if Hasselbeck stays healthy.
We got your back Leodis!
I’m shocked we’re so unanimous on the Ravens and Bills not to mention the Panthers.

I'd be 44-18...
…if I’d quit picking the Bills to win every week.
Of course we could make things more challenging, Lisa, but then the stupider students would be in here complaining, furrowing their brows in a vain attempt to understand the situation--Seymour Skinner
So you're aaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllll on the Jets!
Seriuosly, I think that will be a good game. You’ve got one of the better run games going against what has been one of the better defenses.

Clearly Heads up
is too easy. You guys should set up another one of picking against the spread.
Brian’s 45-17… waay too easy
Although Sireric is 36-26…
Upsets
I like Cinci in an upset this week. Im surprised no one else picked that one. I also really like Miami this week and am shocked everyone (except Ron) went NYJ. I mean Fins played the Colts tough on Monday night…pounded the Bills at home and the Jets may be without Cotchery and still have a banged up secondary. I am not banking on Braylon Edwards learning the playbook in 6 days.
oh look who the caboose is again?
poor Eric.
Im pulling for you man…….
Or maybe I should be pushing you……to help you get out of the basement.

He picked the Browns
even I don’t stoop that low. You should be pulling for him to fall further back!
