Chase Daniel?
Would anyone be adverse to signing Chase Daniel? I'd give him a look on the roster for a few weeks, and let Hamdam go. It might be worth it to see if the kid has anything. It's not like we have any QB prospects for the future...

[sarcasm] Yeah but Hamdan is so ultra valuable as Trent’s filim study buddy[/sarcasm]
What a waste. Most teams actually use the 3rd QB as a project or developmental player. We use it for a film study guy with zero upside.
Lame.

Man.....I have been beating that drum for at least 2 years.
Poor ball security leads to very painful outcomes

Spread Offense
If we had a spread offense, sort of like Arizona, it might be worthwhile signing Chase Daniel. Mostly , though, his numbers were padded beating up on lower level competition, it’s the Big 12 way, you know.

He would have to be traded for now...
He is on New Orlean’s active roster as of week 2, they signed him off the Redskins practice squad and he was actually dressed for the Bills game.
Nice thought… but the Bills will not pursue. Who’d do Hanging 10 with Hamden????-

He actually makes sense in NO. It really makes no sense to compare the merits and abilities of two QBs who have never played a live NFL game. Daniel may or may not have what it takes and the same goes for Hamdan. We’ll probably never know. Just keep in mind that Tom Brady was 3rd QB going into the season when first the 2nd QB got hurt and Bledsoe got hurt. If not for that freakish set of circumstances, NE might still suck.
