Brady Quinn's house for sale today in Cleveland...
Looks like Brady is getting ready for a trade with the NFL Trade deadline coming up in a few weeks. Believe me I am not getting my hopes up that he comes to Buffalo. However, the Bills got a first hand look at the rookie last year in Buffalo when he beat us on that Monday night game and the Bills just watch him this past weekend get a$$ splinters figuring they might be able to swing a "cheap deal" or do something to fork over Roscoe Parrish and Ryan Fitzpatrick to them.

wouldn’t mind it….Brady Quinn would savor the change, and he has a lot more upside than Fitzpatrick…if it happens though, the season will shortly be lsost

Edwards and Parrish for Quinn
I don’t know if Quinn is better than Edwards, but who has more upside? I would have to give the edge to Quinn. If we don’t like him, we can still draft a QB and let Quinn take the beating Edwards was going to take next year.

ewwwwww
come on Joe why are you giving them so much for Quinn – another captain checkdown? As dabillsr1 alluded to, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Roscoe are enough. Quinn was benched for Derek Anderson, dont forget that and the Browns are unlikley to find a market for him, there is a reason he slid so late in the 1st round. I say trade Fitz and Roscoe and then we have a backup in Quinn who can actually be put in for Edwards if he continues to struggle.

Quinn was benched because he is not playing well, is not Mangenius' guy, and if he plays 70% of the snaps at QB, he is do bonus money.
Given how badly Anderson played, how could Quinn really be worse? Quinn is not ready to start yet, but was a first round pick who has not been allowed to develop. How much value do you think Edwards and Roscoe have on the open market. I bet Quinn has more than both of them. Maybe Quinn is another Captain Checkdown, but we know Edwards is. And was value does Roscoe have. Can’t trade him outright…..been trying that since April. You know this is Roscoe’s last season as a Bill, right?

I hate Brady Quinn
I don’t want him on the Bills… Wait and draft someone that will develop.

I could see the Bills doing it for these reasons:
1) We need to dump a WR when Hardy is coming off the PUP and they also want to give Steve Johnson a shot at some playing time this year. Roscoe by virtue of the “resume” as he calls it, is the odd player out and has been for awhile.
2)Browns absorb the salary cap hit of his bonus money Quinn got when he was a rookie.
3) We have no pressure on Trent to improve with Fitzpatrick (who played in the AFC North and at least can add a little value to the Browns behind Anderson).
4) If we wait to draft a top rookie QB with our first pick in the draft, we have to pay big bucks for an “potential boom or bust” (ala Matt Ryan or Jamarcus Russell). Something tells me that Ralph and Co does not want to wait 2-3 years more for a rookie QB to go through the learning curve while the rest of our team is growing older and we just continue to have mediocracy. I think the Bills will still draft a QB next year, but they have so many other needs that drafting one with their first pick is not what they want to be doing right now.
I think the risk is really “low” with making a deal for Quinn as long as we DON’t GIVE UP ANY DRAFT PICKS. We can not afford to give up picks as this is the only way Buffalo fixes the mess they are in.

Parrish & Fitz
can go to the Browns for Quinn if it’s acceptable all the way around. Parrish has now become a liability, NOT the “luxury” roster spot as said a month or so ago. Let him go. He offers NO value in the WR corp, where-as Steve Johnson (who hasn’t seen any playing time,) NEEDS to be on the field ASAP. Trent needs EVERY weapon we can muster & I really think that Johnson could be one of those guys, IF he could get a chance to showcase some of his talents on our pitiful offense. Plus as has already been said, Hardy will be returning soon as well.
Another thought could be a Parrish & T.O. trade as well.

Interest in Parrish?
I can’t see this happing at all – The Browns already have a great punt returner by the name of Josh Cribbs, who is arguably better anyways. Why would they add Parrish to the mix?

It would make it hard to punt away from Cribbs and Parrish....plus didn't you know Parrish
is a legitimate #2 WR who is misused by the Bills. /sarcasm .

This trade would never be made under Jauron's watch
Trent is equivalent to his first born. That is why we haven’t looked at Vick, Garcia (well maybe TO there), Thigpen, and other prospects.
THANKS DICK!
