Poz back – Inside The Bills
Per Chris Brown at BuffaloBills.com:
"Paul Posluszny is practicing with his teammates here on Wednesday enhancing his chances of returning Sunday."
Donte Whitner is also practicing. The two Scotts - Jonathan and Bryan - are sitting practice out.

I can see why Poz wants back for the Jets game
If we lose this one, all the “we are only two games back in the division race” argument goes out the window. I hope he is ready because he will certainly give that arm a good test trying to stop the Jets running game.
Poor ball security leads to very painful outcomes
Obviously, I am excited about this development….

would feel better about it if he was in a cast. here’s hoping he can last.
most of my posts get deleted :(
I’m hoping they bolt a titanium rod to the outside of his arm. It would not only provide excellent support but think of the forearm shivers he could deliver!
Of course we could make things more challenging, Lisa, but then the stupider students would be in here complaining, furrowing their brows in a vain attempt to understand the situation--Seymour Skinner

Very good news
Should definitely help our run support

That will be fun to see if the Bills win.

Yes
I am so glad Poz is back… Now I can stop wearing my Lee Evans jersey and wear my throwback Poz jersey! Although, based on how little of an appearance Lee has made over the last few weeks their wouldn’t be much difference between the two.
Welcome back Poz!!

no – we need them.
how many dropped passes did Cleveland have last week? 8? yea – i’d say we still need them

I was joking…Poz is my favorite Bills player and my pre-season #1 player the team could not afford to lose. Whitner was (as Brian says) playing at an All-Pro level. They will both be a huge help.
But…my concern is not with the defense. My concern is with AVP, Dick Jauron, Trent Edwards and the O-line.
I still have defensive concerns – i’m not as worried about the o-line or DJ even. But Trent.
if we just ran the ball and setup the pass via the run we’d probably be alright – we are a good running team. why stop?
Trent’s got some issues though – that’s for certain

Issue number 1 was he was never good in the first place…we just saw glimpses that we hoped became more consistent. He got sacked a lot at Stanford too.
I will get trashed for this but I believe we have a fighting chance the Fitz.
I don’t disagree, but it doesn’t really matter because the rest of the team isn’t good enough anyhow. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing him pretty soon though…

I feel the D has played well enough in 4 out of the 5 games. Miami the exception. The missing parts for this team is QB and O-line. A smart QB can help make a bad oline a little better. If Edwards isn’t putting point up against the JEts in the first half I hope they pull him. However, ultimately it doesn’t matter.

If they put Ryan in I’ll have a Fitz…
I love me some DB's...I might just be Dick Jauron's long lost twin!
fitz is in no way a solution. he’s probably absolutely terrible.
however, do we have anything to lose? REALISTICALLY? not really…

yes, and how many of those are we going to win without changing the status quo? i’d wager just as many.

Hopefully
He didn’t rush back. Last thing he and the team needs is another break.
I don’t think this is going to help that much.

One more broken arm for this guy and his career may be over…

I disagree
It will help a young LB gain experience. Even if the team continues to stink Poz will be better in the future for being out there this season. I think the same will be true of Hardy after the bye.

Disagree with what exactly?
I’m hoping Poz isn’t coming back too early. If he’s not 100%, I’d hate to see him break the arm….again.
When I said I don’t think this helps much, I’m talking about how this season plays out. Of course it should help Poz the individual, but the team is still a sinking ship with or without Poz…
