I'm not sure that it is
if it was not a divisional game i would say it would be flat out irresponsible

I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying
Trent Edwards - Backup QB until furthur notice. Care to prove me wrong Trent?

Roscoe not practicing?
Make him inactive immediately. I don’t care if it’s because he has a paper cut on his hand. ;-)

It's not a paper cut...
His “feelings” are hurt terribly by the bashing… Could go to IR soon…

I hope Whitner goes to SS and leave Byrd at FS. I know that is not gonna happen.

With Scott still out I could see Donte at Strong. You think they will leave Wilson in?

If Whitner is in and Scott is out, it will be as you hope.
Whitner at SS and Byrd at FS.
This may be better than when Scott is healthy…

Actually, that’s exactly what will happen.

Did you read this somewhere? I kinda assumed Whitner would go back to FS and we would see Whitner and Wilson with Bryd is subpackages. I guess it was a bad assumption.

Nah – their plan all along was to get Byrd to start next to Whitner, but a wrench was thrown into that plan when Byrd missed the start of training camp with his sports hernia. He’s got experience now, so he’ll play.

Hard to imagine not putting Whitner in at SS...
seeing as how it is hard enough to intercept a pass without a protective brace of some sort. Play him up in the box and close to the LOS in run support.

This could be the week Steve Johnson sees the field, no?

He has been active for exactly one game. Last week the only guy he had to beat out was Justin Jenkins and JJ played, not Steve. I doubt Steve sees the field again this year without major injuries (or trades) to the WR corps. Hardy is coming back in a week and knock him even further down the ladder.
