Fitzpatrick Playing VS Jets?
Ok i know the jets lead the divison by two game yea shocking i know we can still win this but we need are offence to step it up like are defence have with all the injurys. Now i know it is a long shot i know but I think we should play Ryan Fitzpatrick a little bit when we play the jets I know it may sound odd but it would be nice to swap QB'S during the game to keep the Defence on the heels. Rex Ryan would know what hit him Right? Now i am not saying bench Edwards all i am saying is if he is having a hard time running the offence put Ryan in to Slow things down and so the coachs (AVP) clam down Edwards. Or Kelly because he will be at the game Sunday.

what is this? Just a random blurb about wanting Fitz to start…not news
Good Luck With Your Firings Mr. Wilson….Go Bills!
Correct. It’s not long enough for a fanpost so it goes here.

it should be attached to a post that is relevant…I look at the fanshots for news or tidbits that are Bills related from elsewhere…not opinion from fellow rumblers not based on something else…I could be wrong, but I just thought it was the incorrect setting

Let’s get one thing perfectly straight: flip-flopping quarterbacks in-game will make Rex Ryan laugh uncontrollably. It won’t put his defense on its heels; lick its chops, maybe, but I’d be willing to bet that they’d be unfazed.
I hate backup quarterbacks, because whenever a team is bad, everyone talks about them. Ryan Fitzpatrick stinks, guys. Anyone calling for him now is just tired of watching Trent play bad football, because that’s the only reasonable explanation for asking for a player of Fitzpatrick’s caliber to be your starting quarterback.
Trent’s the quarterback. Give him the full 16 games, because we need to be 148% sure what we have in him heading into next season.

I would argue that, no matter what happens this season, you still don’t know what you have with Edwards.
Official ledge-talker-offer of the Buffalo Bills.
Agreed
OK I know what you are saying Brian but somethings has to give if Trent Can’t do it now why not give Ryan a chance
GO BUFFALO
That’s also fair. Still doesn’t prevent you from learning as much as possible.

Im pretty sure I touched on this during the preseason when everyone was at first RAILING on Fitzy......
and I used the same argument…….
although the 148% thing is odd

The no huddle is gone, please sign tackles Runyan, Jones or Walker
You are probably right because

just reading it made me laugh……though control was maintained :-)
Poor ball security leads to very painful outcomes
If Trent sucks again this week, it’s simply ignorant not to put Fitz in. Frankly, I’m sick of hearing excuses.

Well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

Sorry, Brian. I just don’t buy your reasoning for leaving Trent in if he continues to show no progress. If Fitz is as bad as Trent, then we know what we need to about both of them. It’s not as if they can’t put Trent back in, after Fitz fails as miserably as you seem to think he will. With the season in the toilet, it would seem prudent to evaluate as many players as possible.

No you can’t. If you take Trent out you tell the team “He’s done. Forever. He will never start again becaise he was so bad we replaced him.” You can’t undo that. It’s not even whether you think Fitz will be good or bad in there. Once you take Trent out his career as BB’s starting QB is likely over. It took a regime change to get Derek Anderson back at QB in the Browns so there’s a slim chance.
