Pep Talk

Tomorrow is our Super Bowl.

Star-divide

I know it's been really hard to stay positive recently, and for good reason. The tone on these boards from just about everyone, myself included, has been about who are next coach should be, how to get our new franchise quarterback, will our draft pick be a top 5 or top 10 and whether or not its classy to put up billboards calling for the head of our coach. All of these discussions are justified and with such a dim outlook, expected.

Nonetheless, I do think its important that we not lose sight of how amped up we all must get for Sunday's game against the Jets. At the end of the day, all of that other stuff is just the side show to what really matters - and why we all visit this blog in the first place. What really matters is that tomorrow our Buffalo Bills are going to take the field facing a formidable division rival. We have already dropped two in the division - one a heartbreaker and the other a blood bath - and are truly facing being out of it tomorrow. At 1-4, a big win now would be just the spark this team needs to get worked up and turn this season around. A loss about definitely dooms us to missing the playoffs.

Tomorrow is big, really freaking big, for this team. Posluszny and Whitner return to try and pull off the miracle. If we win tomorrow, we are back in the thick of it. And if the Titans beat the Pats, well heck, our whole division is within a game of each other. I'd get ready to make some noise because this could be the last game that matters this year. Let's go Buffalo. Let's go Bills. Let's BEAT THE DAMN JETS!!

Love the enthusiasm

I’m with you 100%. Lets see if the players respond. In particular, when I’m at the game, see how trent can read the defense. I hope the huddle will allow the leaders to calm the young Oline and reduce these stupid penalties.

Lets go Buffalo!!!!

How many years can we go without making the playoffs...eventually the odds go in your favor.........right?!?!?

philosophical question

ok not really: would you rather the Bills win and play poorly or lose and play outstanding?

Personally I’ll take win and play poorly as makeup for the Pats game when we lost and played outstanding.

The no huddle is gone, please sign tackles Runyan, Jones or Walker

We played above average that day

Outstanding is crazy….

Sorry for the late reply.....been busy

I would actually prefer a well played lose because it would mean we are on the right track. A win might be a win, but when the other team hands you the victory by playing worse than you did, it doesn’t exactly fill you with confidence that your team has turned the corner.

Poor ball security leads to very painful outcomes

I know that your right

but I highly doubt that they can produce anything of value against these Jets. I am really jealous, Miami got Parcells last year and the jets really lucked out with Sanchez and now Edwards. Geez, I’d like some of this…

But your right Poz, we need to cheer up and try to pry ourselves from the other great matchup’s to watch our beloved Bills get their clocks cleaned, it the right thing to do…

I have nothing left to say, these Bills have sucked me dry of any hope. Loosing to a team that completes 2-17 for 23y with 1 INT, that is beyond pitiful!

One Step at a Time!

Thanks for the read Poz. Something positive finally, reminds me of this site before the season started. We are only two games back in the division, so ya this game is very important. I don’t think the Saint, Colts, Giants etc… are drinking champagne yet. We got a long way to go, more than most teams. Actually, I am real curious to see what we have up our sleeve tomarrow at 4pm. Hopefully, it is nothing illegal.

Appreciate where your heart is poz

I just can’t get too psyched about a game knowing the Bills are a longshot in it and even more of a longshot for the rest of the year. I hope like he$$ we win and do well, but I can’t delusionally believe in this team like you guys can.

Agreed.

I used to never give up hope but I’m done now. Too many years with no progress, nothing changing, and more importantly this year no accountability.

Good call Poz. I somehow always feel like the minority around here with all the negativity and seeing as this is the only way I can get serious talk about the Bills being in Alaska this article lets me know that there are still some people out there that havent completely given up on the team. Heres to hoping for a good performance out of our beloved Bills.

wow Alaska?

is it daylight all the time there?

Even bigger question. Youre a Bills fan obviously, but what team do Alaskans root for?

Envy the entusiasm, but too many times has this Dick Jauron-led team of school boys disappointed me beyond measure, so I’m going to sit back in my comfy chair here in my Toronto-home and wait for Dick to get fired, and given how much I expect us to lose tomorrow, that day will likely come during the bye week.

PATHETIC! Get a grip on reality. This season is over. Focusing on a better coaching staff and QB are what we and the team should be doing now!!

interesting feedback

doesn’t really relate to cheering for the Bills to beat the Jets but I guess we can keep talking about whether or not the season is over. Its game time bro, stop being so emotional and get ready for some football.
