Jason Peters hurt his knee during the first quarter of the Eagles loss to the Raiders yesterday. If it turns out to be real bad, it could linger into next year. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

I read that earlier when I was checking the news about that game, given the final score. At least he will be well rested for the pro bowl in January.

This is a very true statement. If his career is over (though I doubt that is true) He is in a much better financial position because of that trade.
