Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers: Week 7 Open Thread
Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers, Oct 25, 2009 4:05 PM EDT

Buffalo Bills (2-4) at Carolina Panthers (2-3)
4:05 PM, Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC (TV: CBS)
Panthers on SB Nation: Cat Scratch Reader
Bills inactives: QB Trent Edwards, RB Xavier Omon, WR Roscoe Parrish (scratch), TE Shawn Nelson, OT Jonathan Scott, DE Chris Ellis, SS Donte Whitner, SS Bryan Scott. WR Roscoe Parrish is the third QB.
The Buffalo Bills are coming off of a 16-13 overtime win in Week 6 - a win that ended a three-game slide and an eight-game slide in the AFC East. Buffalo will now attempt to turn that victory into bona fide momentum with another road win today in Carolina, where the Panthers themselves have won two in a row and are looking to continue their momentum.
Buffalo will look to extend their winning streak without starting quarterback Trent Edwards, who is inactive after sustaining a concussion last week in New York. Ryan Fitzpatrick gets his first start at quarterback in a Bills uniform. The injury news isn't all bad for Buffalo, however - DT Kyle Williams will play on Sunday despite a shoulder injury that many expected would keep him out of today's game.
This is your open thread for the game. GO BILLS!

I just pray
that we dont get gashed for over 300 yards rushing today. Stewart and Williams scare the crap out of me right now, and with kyle williams ailing, its not going to be getting better in all likelyhood.

Go Bills!
Buffalo’s games have been so ugly of late that I’m almost afraid to watch. It could be super-ugly. My expectations are very low for today, which means they’ll probably do just fine!

Fita is not a long term answer
At this point though he is palying better the Trent. I am a big Trent supporter, but with the way our o-line is right now, I think Fitz is a better option because of his scrambling and his ability to get rid of the ball quick
i think we all know that ...
but he’s doing a bang up job as a backup which is what he was brought in for …
long term, heck no, but for now, I hope he keeps MANAGING the game well …
I’m to to confident on him still, he is still 8/19 with only 59 yards, nonetheless that drive was huge and he played well in it.
