this is a guy whitner is supposed to be laying out. a hated division rival. he should have a big old target on his back – especially after he had a career day against us last year.

i understand that the nfl doesn’t quite work that way anymore… but this is too much for me!!

He was Whitner’s teammate in high school AND college. So is Troy Smith, backup QB for the Ravens. It’s not as if growing up with a guy playing football would cause you to utter a few words of encouragement when he suffers a career setback would be considered basic human decency or anything. Nah. That’s just something pansies do.

Side note: it was Ginn’s b-day party where Whitner got tasered in Cleveland during the offseason.

hahaha – i admit i forgot about the connection, but I am still a little bummed. maybe i just want to believe in santa claus and the tooth fairy, but i want to think these guys want to get after each other.

I’m sure they have no desire to be beaten by the other, but you’re not gonna be enemies with every single opposing player in your division. Players switch teams too much for that.
