Maybe next year.....

I hate to give up this early, but a 38 -10 loss to the 0-3 Dolphins is a REALLY bad sign. Plus, they were playing without their starting QB and one of their best defensive players. Maybe 7 - 9 or worse will get Jauron fired finally. We need a lot to change, and I think it starts at the top.  I am usually the overly optimistic Bills fan, but this year just feels really bad.  Maybe they'll prove me wrong, but I highly doubt it.

Now I'm hoping for the Falcons, Vikings or Saints to play the Chargers in the Super Bowl.

Watching Vikings VS. Packers tonight with my brother who is a big Vikings fan. Should be interesting. If you haven't heard the Favre Sears radio commercial it's pretty funny. He can't decide which TV to buy, and makes fun of himself and his waffling.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Commercials

There are 2 different commercials, they play them constantly on ESPN, and on CBS/NBC/Fox when football games are on. They’re pretty good.

Go big or go home. It’s what we want Trent to do. If you’re going, sport the red white and blue baby.

It's a good commercial...

…but I still can’t stand him. I feel like you can almost hear his PR agents in the back saying, “Brett, how you doing there good buddy? Listen, your good, likable image is shaky after completely f*ing over the team that made you and the small town team that loved you for so long. Let me get you 2 million and we’ll make people laugh and forget that you sided with a division rival. Don’t forget your Wranglers.”

I felt like I was watching a porno because the announcers were on his Dick Jauron the whole game. It was pretty pathetic.

How did Favre screw over the Packers? By changing his mind? I think he’s entitled to do whatever the hell he wants, whenever he wants. That’s what he’s earned as a hall of fame QB and a man. Every football player I’ve ever known was always happy when the season ended, but always excited when it started up again. Football season takes a lot out of you, is it so hard to think that after the season ends, he’s not sure if he wants to play again? Then changes his mind when it comes time to start playing in the summer? Sounds like human nature to me. Damn that Brett Favre for being so human!!!

Agreed – my only problem with the Brett Farve shingdig was how much the media was obsessed with it! It was great watching him pick apart the packers; then again I always root for the Vikes cause who can’t love to watch a big D-linemen like Pooh Bear engulf the pocket on each play :)

Yea the media blew that way up. The idea that he waffled this year I think is untrue also. I think that he and Childress decided he would sign late in camp like he did so he could avoid working hard in the beginning of camp. Like how Bruce used to show up late to camp. Pat Williams is my 2nd (only to Steve Tasker) all-time favorite Bill. I just love P-Diddy’s style and he’s an absolute monster up front. We could have had him for relatively cheap when we let him go. Big mistake

The Packers were making it very difficult for Favre to return (as the starter). They wanted to start Rodgers. Favre thought retirement was best at that point. He changed his mind. I hate seeing him in anything but green and yellow, but I understand why he’s a Viking.

Like the Vikes too

Former Bills Antoine Winfield and Pat Williams are 2 of the reasons the defense is very good.

They are my 2nd favorite team, so it was fun to watch a team I like have success on a Monday night.

To think the Bills didn’t feel Pat Williams or Antoine Winfield were worth keeping!

They wanted to keep them but at the price they were asking it wasn’t worth it. We had Clements and McGee as starting CBs so it made dollars and cents sense (and salary cap sense, too).

Pat Williams was considered on the decline, as I seem to recall reading a quote about the situation. I know they couldn’t afford to keep Winfield when there were the Lonnie Johnsons and Shawn Brysons to pay for.

by who? Bills talent evaluators? I know when I watched him play he was always a good player. Getting rid of him was BS – same with Winfield. Clements I understand – but these guys are some of the best at their positions. You can’t get rid of 1st tier players all the time if you want to compete – you need game changers -it’s a playmakers league after all.

Then people wonder why we continue to suck – it was painfully obvious to me that Williams still had it – still has it

also – i wasn’t disagreeing with you – obviously, but it came across that way. I am in complete agreement with you….

sounds to me that they should fire the talent evaluators!

i guess winfield could be let go with the amassed CB depth, but they brought in Sam Adams to replace Pat Williams. Worst personnel decision ever.
