I just tuned in and saw a classic Losman drive. Two sacks…two fumbles…the last one recovered by the other team. Flutie says he has to learn how to hold the ball tighter.
I’d like to keep watching but the camera angles are making me dizzy. Reminds me of the XFL in that regard. Not a good thing.

Losman Of Old
I stoped for a second on the game on that’s what I saw. If anyone in Las Vegas cares they feel our pain

he actually had a great game
The most surreal thing was a fan that held up a sign that said:
HEY BUFFALO
GOT J.P.?
UFL-VS.
I can post the image if you don’t believe me.

Great game? Were you watching a career highlight reel? He looked pathetic every time I clicked over.

hahahahah, Good for that guy. Somebody should bring a sign to the Bills game on Sunday saying, hey Las Vegas, got an NFL football team? WE DO

That could back fire in a few years ...... or months...... or days.....who the hell knows :-(
Poor ball security leads to very painful outcomes

also
A player that for sure would succeed in the NFL based on his performance in the game was Kicker Graham Gano who hit 3 FGs and one from 53 yards out. I don’t care if you play for scrubs, if your a rookie and hit from that far out you can make it in the NFL.

I thought Gano was easily the best kicker in last year’s draft class. I can’t believe he couldn’t find a home and I’d bet he does at some point.

but this from PFT
Las Vegas quarterback J.P. Losman completed 21 of 31 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
decent numbers, if you ask me.

Decent game for JP........
pretty much did what he usually does.

I can’t speak for norcaliangelsfan, but I watched the whole thing and I agree – it was vintage J.P.
Flashes of competence sprinkled with a handful of drive-killing sacks as a result of an utter refusal to throw the damn ball away. Good completion percentage, awful sack rate.
Just like when he was with the Bills, if you just look at the numbers it was pretty decent, but if you watched him it was often cringe-inducing. If he keeps playing like this, he’ll get a job in the NFL, but I didn’t see any evidence that he’d be anything other than the J.P. we know and “love”.
Also, did anyone else notice an utter lack of blitzing from both teams? It was like some bizarro-world of football in which everyone has to sit back in a 2-deep zone, no matter what the situation is.

Just looked at the box score and California only got credited with one sack. I guess they aren’t counting the forced fumbles or the aimless scrambling and failing to get back to the line as sacks.
It was pretty ugly in the first half.

People saying he had a great game because of the stat line should realize he’s probably one of the top 5 players in the UFL, with tons of experience. He SHOULD dominate that competition. I wonder how long before Mr. Neckbeard returns?
