“I think we have the receivers who can go and make plays on the ball,” Van Pelt said. “If we get a situation where it’s one on one, we don’t have to be wide open. We can give those guys a chance to go up and make plays. That’s one thing we’ve talked about.”

I’ve been waiting for them to do this! With our receivers our QBs cant wait till their open – especially with our offensive line – just chuck it up to them and let them make a play!

Again my prediction for Trent Sunday: 3 TDs, 3 INTS 289 yards.

To me, the sucker is the person who runs when there’s trouble, especially when this situation was so easily foreshadowed….

I really hope what he says jives with what Trent does. That hasn’t been the case.

Trent doesn’t throw those passes though. There have been opportunities all year for him to do it, yet he stays in his shell.

Yes but now his boss is telling him to throw these types of passes

Now, if he still doesn’t do it, he should be pulled from the game.

please note, this is assuming that the coaching staff wasn’t banging this point home earlier, and are now. I have a feeling Jauron was always telling Trent “a punt is better than an INT” Just my opinion though

, yet he stays in his shell.

get him mean – punch him in the nuts and say “are you mad now?”

seriously – (and I hate to say this, so sorry Brian) – with the way that Trent mimics DJ – it’s no wonder we freaking suck at QB. I gotta go look at film, we’re working on it – will you just grow a set and throw the f’in ball to a WR in single coverage?

What is Trent going to say? “We lost the game because I got killed behind the OL.” “I am a pansy.” He can’t say any of that. His go-to response should be “We have to look at the tape and correct the mistakes.”

how about something different?

I know what you’re saying MRW – but get a little pissed every once in a while. seriously – show emotion.

That should be his go-to response – but every time?

Size has alot to do with this.

One reason why Hardy was so seriously considered. Although with Owens out, Hardy and Nelson would be the more likely one on one matches. I would take the three Int’s along with three TD’s minus any pick sixes. It would help in the running game as well.

Excuses are a sign of weakness!!!!!!
