Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans: Open Game Thread

Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans, Nov 15, 2009 1:00 PM EST

Buffalo Bills (3-5) at Tennessee Titans (2-6)
Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 1:00 PM (TV: CBS)
LP Field - Nashville, TN
Titans on SB Nation: Music City Miracles

Bills inactives: WR James Hardy, WR Roscoe Parrish, OT Jonathan Scott, DE Chris Ellis, DT Kyle Williams, LB Keith Ellison, CB Terrence McGee

The Buffalo Bills endured a rough first quarter of their season, stumbling to a 1-3 record. They improved record-wise over the second quarter of the season (2-2), but many of the problems (read: the offense) that developed early in the season remain issues.

Today, the Bills embark on the second half of the 2009 season with plenty on the line, including many players' Bills careers, as well as Dick Jauron's tenuous coaching job. The team must win games; if they don't, broad, sweeping changes are coming. Their efforts to save their jobs - not to mention start winning more football games - starts this afternoon in Tennessee against a Titans team that has won two straight.

This is your open game thread. GO BILLS.

Thats what we need here.

Pull some strings. I’m on the Harbaugh bandwagon now. Although, admittedly, he’s #2 behind Todd Bowles.

Bill Polian and AJ Smith are gone, so there's not the usual balance between "sane" and "others." Ralph has mentally checked out since 1994. It's a very dangerous time. The coalition for reason is extremely weak.

I wouldnt hold your breath for that one..........my guess for AFN is Bengals Steelers.....

Or Vikes Lions…….because they usually start just showing title contenders on there at this point in the season.

Atleast thats what happened during the 4 years I was overseas watching AFN.

People don't realize it

But the Wildcat was a high school formation that the Springdale High School Wildcats (Springdale, AR) invented. The Arkansas Razorbacks in the neighborhing town of Fayettville copied it and used it, and the rest is history. NFL analysts don’t know this. They ran an entire special on the wildcat and didn’t include anything about why it’s actually called “Wildcat”.

If he lets the WR run by him, what do you call that?

I wasn’t complaining either. It’s the first time he’s really allowed a big play all year.
