I think it’s safe to say that Ashton Youboty is done with the Bills. the guy simply is fragile. can’t rely on someone like that. Whitner is close behind in my opinion.

WTF
“I need to see the whole game, too. Obviously, from the field you can’t see everything that happened.”
Jauron postgame. You watch other coaches (e.g. Belichick last night). They are over with the team looking at the “still” pictures of defense/offense, plotting and adjusting. Our guy? He stands on the sideline like a cigar store Indian, holding his chin and staring off to somewhere while hiding behind his Foster Grants.
This quote says it all. Wouldn’t(Shouldn’t) he be SEEING the whole game while he’s THERE? What IS he doing while out there? What good is watching it AFTER it’s over?

All he meant was he needs to go look at the tape. He was also avoiding the question. It’s not egregious. It’s not that he had no idea what was going.

sorry...I don't buy it. An autopsy is not a viable way to diagnose a patient's illness.
It is obvious (to me) that the coaching staff is regularly outcoached BECAUSE the opposition adjusts to what we do (albeit not much). We, however, “stick with the game plan” in a “damn the torpedoes” manner. Unfortunately, all too often our game plan is inept.
In the instances where an in game decision is needed, Jauron invariably “guesses” wrong. (Field goal attempt or penalty?). In that case, I think he sent a message to the defense, i.e. I don’t have the confidence that you can stop them. The game went soouth from there. Later, he pulls Edwards…for what? Making decisions is one thing. Making the right ones at the right time (during the game) is what coaches get paid to do. He is not doing that.
By his own admission, he is using hindsight to determine what should have been done, The sad part is, next week, he will not learn from this week. It’ll be the same s@$& different week.

The defense had already proven they couldn’t on the drive BTW.
What is he supposed to say? “Fire me now, Ralphy!” He says we’ll go and get better. And part of the sutopsy is to find out what, if anything, could have been done to save the patient.

by the same token
then Indy should have thrown in the towel last night because they were behind. Did their coach say, “I don’t think you can come back”??? I know, Indy isn’t Buffalo, Edwards isn’t Manning. But, no coach worth his salt, is going to declare, and by his actions, validate (or insult) the effort of his team as incompetent. Good coaches inspire the talent they have. Bad ones do what Jauron did. I wouldn’t follow that guy around the block, let alone into 16 battles.

That’s a new one, and I like it! He protects the sidelines like it was the entrance to his cigar shop!

So what kind of response will Ralph give to Bud (if any)... what an embarassment
I will be interesting to see if the league does something. Didn’t Cox get a pretty big fine back in the day in Buffalo exiting the field with the Bird flying?

It would be nice to hear from Ralph or Russ about the state of the team somewhere this season
A few comments here and there in passing does nothing for fans or optimism for the future. Even if it is to say we are working on things. We are not happy. We want to win. Ralph’s halftime presentation was something… but this team is so far away from a championship…

It would be a good start... however at this point you are right they are going to say nothing
Even with firing Jauron in the offseason… I think Fans are so frustrated that it is really hard to be optimistic. More will need to be done than sign a few guys in FA and hope the fans will buy tickets again.

It would be nice to see a little more how Brandon earns it...
Other than the marketing part of our team which he seems to do a really good job at, I can’t say for sure if Brandon is doing anything to make a difference with our team especially from a football operations perspective.
I think it was alluded to from other posts that Brandon doesn’t have football operational authority and that those decisions are made “inner circle”. Come to think of it, I don’t think our inner circle is doing anything to make a difference either.
my my how quiet this team has been this season and just letting Jauron take all the “bullets” that are being blasted at him from everywhere. If he is not the biggest sitting duck in this league right now. Wow, it amazes me.

His background is in marketing. That is his job. And yeah he is doing a great job at it. Look at the season ticket numbers and the rise in the number of tickets sold since he came on board.
Don’t be surprised to see someone come in to run football operations this offseason and Brandon stay on as C.O.O.

Fans just want signs of life
Cuz there isn’t any on the field. If we saw something proactive being done it would sooth our hearts. But it’s really not prudent right now so we are left with this frustrating feeling. Oh well.

But what would be proactive? Firing Jauron and hiring someone else maybe. Hiring a GM. I don’t want to do either of those things midseason cause they solve nothing at this point.

It's kind of cool to see Adams doing that
Apparently he still has some animosity leftover from the good old Bills-Oilers rivalry days. It’s nice to see someone besides Bills fans living in the past.
