Not much of a surprise
They can’t comment on impending discussions with coaches both by league rule and just plain common sense. Perry deserves every opprotunity to win or at least prove he can coach. If he doesn’t have a future here, hopefully he can get a good chance somewhere else.
My personal feeling is no matter what happens, at the end of the year the whole thing gets turned over.
so what do u think if shanahan comes to buffalo and decides to keep trent as the starting qb. hes a great qb coach i think it might be something to consider.
mark schlereth for what it's wotrh
just said on NFL live, “Next year’s quarterback does not reside on the Bills roster”
well thats his opinion
but it is most likely true

Well Schlereth is a huge windbag. There’s not an NFL analyst I respect less.

I’m not a big fan of Schlereth either, but is he wrong in this case?

Just for clarity, even if the Bills hire a head coach, it won’t be for this season. Even if a Shanahan type is hired before the season ends, we’re looking at a Perry Fewell lead Bills for the remainder of this season. Any hire would be for 2010. So of course, Buffalo needs to say stuff like this and downplay the head coaching search, especially considering how long it could and likely will take.
I signed up for Second Life about a year ago. Back then my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one. In my Second Life I was also a paper salesman and I was also named Dwight. Absolutely everything was the same. Except I could fly. - Dwight Schrute
