Expect to see QB Trent Edwards back on the field for the Bills. And soon.

Edwards, who has missed the last two games after suffering a concussion, is expected back when the Bills return from their bye week, a team source tells NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. Edwards has been progressing well and performing better in cognitive testing and should resume full practice soon.

Ryan Fitzpatrick had been starting in Edwards’ absence, leading the Bills to a 1-1 record in his two starts. He has completed 51.4 percent of his passes for 356 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Edwards went down with the concussion in a Week 6 win over the Jets. He has thrown for 985 yards, five touchdowns and six interceptions with a 59.5 completion percentage.

Like this was not to be expected. Sorry Fitzy... you did not do near enough to keep your job. Wait until Trent gets hurt again.

Also, why is DJ's Monday news conference taking so long to post or happen?

DJ's news conference finally up on BB.com

While DJ didn’t make any excuses for his team and tried to take the blame himself again, it was very evident to hear him talk about the significant mounting injuries our team has right now and how hard it is for them to field a team for them to get in any significant work or practice in.

You could see where DJ knows that his team is in big trouble going forward and completing with so many injuries won’t be “pretty or fun” on gameday.

Hence the 2nd half of the season could be a lot worse than the first half…

The press conference stream wasn’t working today so you had to wait until everything was done.
