would be neat to have another bills-centric HOF ceremony with those two, but I doubt it will happen. I’m really rooting for Andre to get in this year.

And Chris Carter is almost a lock too. Both are WAY ahead of Reed.

I don’t think Carter is a lock. Rice and Smith are locks.

If Carter isn’t a lock then you can kiss Reed’s chances goodbye this year.

I agree with that. People thought Carter was a lock last year. Reed and Carter will both be in eventually.

No doubt, but it think that Reed is still a few years off.

I’m not sure if Tasker gets in though, although he does deserve to.

Tasker is an interesting case.

Does he get credit for being probably the best ever at a part of the game almost entirely comprised of second tier players?

for sure – he changed the game. that’s what the HOF is suppose to be about – players that changed the game.

Steve Tasker

only the greatest special teams player in the history of the NFL. 7 times to the Pro Bowl. Dude was a human missile. Should be a lock for the HOF

I’ve said it before and I will say it again; If Art Monk is a HOF’er than so is Reed. Like Monk however, reed will have to wait a while before his name is called.

These two lines in combination,

make it sound like the pro football hall of fame doesnt think steve tasker should be a semi-finalist, lol. I know thats not the case but thats they way it looks when the two lines are put together.

They were announcing them in groups on NFLN. Then the HOF twitter account left Reed off the WR finalist list and I was floored so he was clarifying.

The pity

about Tasker, is that he could have been used like Wes Welker is today. They are built almost the same, and after the Super Bowl years, he was used as a WR more, and had great hands and ran great routes. He could have been even more special than he was, IMO

Good Luck With Your Firings Mr. Wilson….Go Bills!
