Look, I like that the Bills are playing better these days, but I think, judging by all the media articles, that there’s a little too much praise for Fewell. I believe he looks a lot better because he replaced an inept coach.Fewell’s been the D-coordinator for 3+ years now and they’ve never been anything other than mediocre. That, to me, is more telling than what we’ve seen in two games as a head coach.

The Dolphins are 5-6 now. If you can’t beat a .500ish team at home who’s playing without their best player (and had a really boneheaded play call in the first quarter that took what was likely to be a TD off the board) you’re a really bad team.

It’s great that the team is improved but it’s going to take a lot more than that to convince me he should be under serious consideration to be the head coach.

They where missing their best player, we are missing half our defense and 3/4 of an O-line.

We won it is good news

I agree there is too much Fewell-love by the media. He is much more interesting to cover than Dick Jauron. He cracks more jokes and says more provactive sound bytes and they love him for it.

Yeah, been really busy, can’t read as much as I like to. It’s more enticing to stop by after a win though, that’s for sure.

I had to slink away with my tail between my legs after predicting that the Bills could be a 10 win team this year. I will say this though – my predictions for the division haven’t been far off yet. (Split with Miami, split or win both against the Jets, and split or lose both against the Pats for a total of 3 wins) If our out of division success matched what we did last year (7/10 wins) we’d be fighting for tops in the division or at least a wild card.

Oh and Miller is amazing, no doubt about that. Vezina all the way.

Vontae Davis needs to grow up

Say what you want, but he’s right about Owens pushing off. As I watched the highlight and they showed the closeup, I said out loud, “TO sure got away with a pushoff there.”

It was definitely offensive pass interference. It just wasn’t called.

It was an equal share of interference. Davis is just upset that he wasn’t strong enough to get the better of the scrum.

thats not the point though

the point is you dont blame a loss on refs after you let your rival knock you out of the playoff hunt. He needs to step up and say he blew it and he needs to get better. If TO pushes off and the ref doesnt call it you still got knocked out of the playoffs, champions make plays.

Blah, blah, blah. The only argument that floats is that it was a make-up call for the holding they didn’t call on the Dolphins’ first TD.

blah blah blah??

The whole point is that no arguement matters. They still lost. Calls don’t always go your way. To cry about it after and say that refs were intentionally going against you and weren’t going to let you get out of there with a win is a whiner move and he needs to grow up. Still lost ,he still didn’t make a play, they are out of hte playoff hunt. I don’t see your arguement. The point isn’t the call, its blaming a 4th quarter beatdown on the refs.

Ok, I see your point, and the “blah blah blah” was a little flippant on my part.

But to me, it’s just as silly for everyone to be now saying, “TO’s still got it. His suckitude early in the season was all because of Jauron and Edwards.” The only reason TO had that separation against Davis was because he (TO) committed a penalty.

If the penalty had been actually called, everyone would be still talking about how TO’s past his prime, just as we were earlier in the season when TO committed an offensive pass interference penalty at a crucial point in the game (I think maybe even in the NE game on MNF). TO’s a hero now, only because the penalty he committed wasn’t called.
