Take your pick: Jauron-Edwards or Fassel-Losman - AFC East - ESPN
WECK in Buffalo had Graham on and proposed a straight trade of Jauron and Trent Edwards for Fassell and J.P. Losman. I'm gonna pass. What do you think?
Most absurd AFC East result: Browns 6, Bills 3 - AFC East - ESPN
Tim Graham names the one game I attended this year the most absurd of the first half in the AFC East after fan voting.

Interesting Comments on Brandon and the GM Situation
For those interested in the GM situation, be sure to check out the link Matt has provided above to the “Decade of Disappointment” story running in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle and watch the video of the panel discussion featuring the two D&C reporters who cover the Bills and the two top sports reporters for WGRZ in Buffalo. In that discussion Sal Maiorana from the D&C mentions a conversation he recently had with Russ Brandon which left him with the clear impression that Brandon would very much like to be empowered by Ralph Wilson to “clean house” after this season and bring in a new football-savvy GM to rebuild the team. He said, based on what Brandon told him, that Brandon would welcome having such a GM to work with.
Maiorana also mentioned in the same breath the possibility that that new GM might be Greg Gabriel, the current Director of Personnel for the Chicago Bears, who is a Buffalo native and still such a loyal Bills fans that he has season tickets for all of our games. He is convinced that Gabriel would come in an instant, and he and Roth believe that Gabriel would be an excellent choice (something Ed Kilgore of WGRZ agreed with). However, Maiorana left the clear impression (as I interpreted his comments — others can judge for themselves) that the big question is whether Wilson will give Brandon the green light.
I am going to go more in depth to that site tomorrow when the written material is released. Expect more to come! :-)

I heart Russ Brandon then
He knows he’s not a football guy, and that this franchise needs one. Plus, I’m sure, as a marketing guy, he’d love to play the hire up.

Also, Gabriel is a good choice
Brian’s talked about him before. I’d be happy with him.

I agree. I never wanna see JPs ass here ever again. I wouldn’t even want Fassel at that cost.

What kind of question is that anyway?
A HC who hasn’t coached in the NFL for years for many reasons, and a QB who flat out stinks?? Why would any team want either?

I like Fassel personally
but even in the UFL his team is winless!
