Week 9 of the 2009 NFL regular season is set to kick off at 1:00 PM ET today, and the authors of Buffalo Rumblings are back to provide our picks for all 13 games on the docket. Nine of us are participating, and once again, we encourage you to leave your own picks in the comments section. All of our picks are after the jump. The standings after eight weeks of NFL action:

The Texans have played the Colts tough the last few years, and do we think that the Colts will go 16 – 0 ? I don’t. They will pick up a loss or two somewhere.

You’re either going to claim the lead after this week or start to fade. You picked a winner that nobody or just one other FIVE times!! I am surprised at the lack of faith in Cincy and Denver at home, though not that much since I picked their opponents!

Im actually suprised im in the minority as much as I am. I did go in knowing I was picking some upsets(like Chifes) but only one other Cowboy pick? IM the only Denver pick? Its a bad omen when my pick list looks dangerously identical to sirerics (haha, nice jab there eh eric?)
I’m going to be way out in front or back a ton.

Cowboys really helped me out. I just moved past K! Sweet.
I tied Ron too because the Lions fell apart. Picked up some serious ground on Marv, too.
A move from the bottom half to the top half is never bad in my book.
