Watch Bills vs Jets LIVE on the NFL.com

I know some of you may be unable to catch the game Thursday as it's only being shown on NFL Network.  There seems to be good news though.  It looks like the game is shown live on NFL.com, as well.

Here is the link for the game.

I'm not 100% sure if it's the exact telecast being shown on TV, how delayed it might be or if it truly is the whole game.  On the front of NFL.com, there's a link that says "Watch Live Online".  Good luck to everyone who may want to use this, as I hope it works!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Will fans in the Buffalo be able to watch on a local feed? And is the fact it is a “sell out” a factor?

Fans in Buffalo will see it on local TV

since it’s a sell out. Other areas of the country need the NFL Network to catch it on TV, except in NYC where it’ll be on channel 11. That’s why I’m hoping it is indeed shown live on NFL.com for all those who can’t catch it on TV….

The TV Guide website shows the game on for the cable providers listed for the zip code 14068…assuming that is near where you live. You should be fine if you have Buffalo local stations.

If I remember correctly from last year it’s not the complete game. They show parts of it and then go back to the studio so you can listen to Marshall Faulk talk about the game. It’s honestly worse than not watching the game. Who knows, they might have changed it.

I think twoeightnine is correct unless you want to pay then you can watch it in full on NFL.com, I believe the free version is more of a promo thing to catch people.

They are too cheap to pick up NFL Network, it really sucks they have a monopoly on cable in Buffalo, because i really like my internet access, and verizon FIOS can’t supply TV in the city of Buffalo because of the contract with time warner :(.

So anyone else in Rochester staring the need to go "bar-it" in the face tomorrow?

If so, where’s the best place to watch the game? The distillery on Mt. Hope has a large screen but you have to crowd around the bar.

Trample the weak, hurdle the dead!

by fansince83 on Dec 2, 2009 11:46 AM EST up reply actions

There is the new Anchor Bar location on East Ave

if anyone were to have the Buffalo game I would imagine it would be them. The Sports Page on Monroe might have it, likewise with the other 2 locations of the Distillery (on Ridge by 390, or on Winton by Brighton-Henrietta TL Rd) if you don’t like the Mt. Hope area or bar scene…Temple Bar and Grill might have it as well and they have 2 for 1 drink specials basically all night and their munchies are decent. Buffalo Wild Wings off Jefferson in Henrietta may have the game as well…

I couldn’t find anything specific about NFL Network capabilities on their websites just now, but they may be more helpful if you call…

by Tatunka on Dec 2, 2009 12:14 PM EST up reply actions

Also...

I believe Sagamore Grille has the NFL Network, but their food is pretty pricey although very tasty…

Sagamore and Temple are both on East Ave as I forgot to mention before!

by Tatunka on Dec 2, 2009 12:18 PM EST up reply actions

Don’t most of them? Tullys, MacGregors…. I’d imagine most places have a dish if they are shoing mulitple games at the same time.

by MattRichWarren on Dec 2, 2009 2:16 PM EST up reply actions

Good call...

Tully’s is all right for food and such, but the bar atmosphere, if that’s what you are looking for, is pretty tame…

Zebb’s is another one…I am sure they have the ticket…and that won’t be too busy and they have decent food as well and a coupon in the entertainment book…

McGregor’s isn’t in the City anymore, but the one out off Jefferson isn’t bad and I think they have the ticket at all of their locations…

WARNING * IF YOU GO UP TO RIDGE ROAD BE VERY MINDFUL OF YOUR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION PRIOR TO DRIVING…Greece PD literally sits right there pulling over car after car, I way in, I way out…So keep that in mind (if you didn’t know already!).

by Tatunka on Dec 2, 2009 4:52 PM EST up reply actions

Zebb’s is cheesy inside, but so is Tully’s.

There’s some place in Webster (another one at the mall in Greece), that has a really large screen to watch the game. I mean, like movie theater-size. The one in Webster, not sure about Greece.

by MattRichWarren on Dec 2, 2009 5:53 PM EST up reply actions

Oh yes, that’s the name. Well, the ad wasn’t really lying. That place seemed to have a great screen to watch the game, if I recall. I was there about a year ago now.

I really just want to go to a place that I don’t have to fork over a ton of money to eat crappy bar food and drink crappy beer. I have bottles of Chimay that will be lonely tomorrow night.

So no one knows the best place to watch the game as if it was in our house (ability to hear it, see it, etc)?

Twitter: helping to make anti-social people anti-socially social.

by TheAfghanTwilight on Dec 2, 2009 6:11 PM EST up reply actions

You could check...

Thirsty’s in Village of Pittsford…very small place, not too loud, tv’s are close, drinks are cheap, crowd is tame…parking kinda sucks…not sure if they have the ticket, but a buddy of mine lives in the Village and he is an unholy Pats fan (from CT originally, as if that is some kind of excuse!) and is able to watch the games frequently over there…so it’s a possibility

Otherwise, I would say…check out and see if Temple is doing game stuff or hokey karoke stuff, because they have 2 for 1 drinks and 30 cent wings after 8 and a relatively comfortable seating area (for a restaurant/bar)…

And as cheesy as it is inside, Zebb’s is easy to view and not too crowded (my fam took me out there for my B-Day on the day of the Jax game and I frequently wandered into the bar to check out the game)

by Tatunka on Dec 2, 2009 6:28 PM EST up reply actions

My buddy works there! It’s such a hole in the wall you’d never know it was there.

Tully’s will have beer specials.

The Distillery will overcharge you.

I think there is a MacGregor’s in Egypt, and I can’t remember the name, but there is a pretty decent sports bar in Newark, and another in Macedon. One of my co-workers goes to this place up on 104 (Ontario I think), but I can’t recall its name…so I’ll check with her today. Another co-worker goes to Sodus on game day, so I’ll try to check with him too.

Parkers Grill

less than eight miles, nice place, a little small for a crowd. MacGregors a little bit of a travel. Flagherty’s in Macedon, I know it well, was looking for a closer place. Acutally Sodus, Newark and Clyde would be ideal, if nothing at home.

TC Hooligan’s in Webster has the best setup i’ve ever seen in Rochester (even though it’s a bit like a meathead’s paradise). I might have to break down and head there. The Winfield on Winton is also a great spot.
