2010 NFL UFAs
I like this because it shows a list of who will be a UFA with and without a cap. This is the AFC list and a link to the NFC list is in there.

One thing worth noting is there isn’t really one legitmate UFA OT… Maybe the pair of San Fransisco guys, orther than that, litterly nothing.

There will be a ton of really good players who will be ERFAs and RFAs this coming offseason. I wonder if this will be the year of the holdout as those guys try and get the big contracts they would have gotten if there was still a CBA in place.
I signed up for Second Life about a year ago. Back then my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one. In my Second Life I was also a paper salesman and I was also named Dwight. Absolutely everything was the same. Except I could fly. - Dwight Schrute

It is irrelevant, the Bills won’t take on a guy with a contract dispute. That is unless they plan to turn around and trade him for a 5th round pick.

This list is interesting, but largely meaningless, since the best UFA’s are likely to be resigned by their existing teams before they ever hit the market. The only UFA list worth paying attention to is the one that exists as FA season begins. As for Bills worth resigning, the only two I would go out of my way to resign are Bryan Scott and George Wilson, two of the most underappreciated current players on the team. Neither will ever be a Pro Bowler, but I would put them just one level below that in terms of their ability and value at this point in their careers.
If I were GM, I would also resign Josh Reed provided I could do so for a reasonable amount of money. If the Bills let him go, their only true veteran WR on the roster next year, assuming they don’t pick one up in FA, will be Lee Evans (I don’t consider Roscoe Parrish a true WR).

Hey! Guess what! If you cross off the names of the guys who re-sign with their teams as they happen, then you END UP WITH A GOOD LIST! [brain explodes]

Yeah, but the problem is that these early lists give rise to lots of speculation about players who simply won’t be available once hunting season begins. What’s the point of that?

So you’re saying the speculation that the list breeds is meaningless, and not the list itself. Gotcha.

Well then, you should appreciate this list as it does a pretty good job of analysing which of the potential picks are likely to hit the market and why.

Question...
In the analysis section the author suggests that:
Buffalo definitely won’t bring back Terrell Owens, whose signing has turned out to be a major mistake.
Is this the consensus view? I know Owens has been a major disappointment, but it seems that the decision to take him on board was sound. Mistake implies that we have suffered because of the decision. Even knowing what I know now I don’t see an Owens-less Bills as an improvement (bar having more money in the coffers).
